REGIONAL FORUM
Welcome Bienvenidos a la Ciudad de México. Your decision to join IOGP and AMEXHI for our regional forum shows that you share both our associations’ priorities for safer and more efficient operations – as well as our optimism. While there is no denying that the upstream oil and gas industry is going through a challenging period, it is equally certain those companies and nations that are planning for recovery will be the best placed to benefit. As you will see from the programme, the sessions and panels we have planned are relevant for today’s scenario as well as tomorrow’s. You can look forward to hearing from some of the industry’s most highly respected experts on upstream operations and economics; prevention and response preparedness; specifications and standards; and alignment with regulators. And we look forward to learning about how you have faced the challenges we share – and gained from any opportunities that have arisen. IOGP, founded in 1974, is one of the world’s oldest upstream oil and gas organisations. AMEXHI is one of the newest, established in 2015. Combining our global expertise with regional knowledge, we look forward to working with you at our first joint forum. comencemos !
