Businesses have the opportunity to make a significant impact on waste reduction, as they are a major contributor to the waste stream. Recycling creates a healthier environment by reducing not only the amount of waste sent to landfills, but also the amount of virgin materials used, preserving natural resources.

• Source separate recyclable materials from solid waste and subscribe to a basic level of recycling services including collection, self-hauling, or other arrangements for the pickup of the recyclable material. OR • Subscribe to a recycling service that may include mixed waste processing that yields diversion results similar to source separate recycling. 3
