INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITIES IN OUR CITY

Kaposvár is a human-scale, laid-back and liveable city, a place, where the locals enjoy living and those looking to invest can find the opportunities they seek.

DEAR FUTURE PA R T N E R

Kaposvár is a city in the centre of the South Transdanubian region undergoing dynamic urban development. Recent years has witnessed the arrival of new businesses and investors in Kaposvár, which with the steady growth of traditional industrial businesses operating in the city have led to economic growth. These business development decisions have been influenced by Kaposvár’s investor-friendly policies, the competitive value of industrial properties, low local tax rates, a readily available skilled work force and the intellectual capacity of the university. Moreover, Kaposvár is a city that is not only a safe home for the inhabitants, but an attractive place for our visitors and for those deciding to settle in Kaposvár. Investment in Kaposvár’s Transportation Infrastructure is now happening. A new twoby-two-lane express road (No. 67) is to be built. It is designed to link Kaposvár and the M7 motorway providing fast road freight

transport accessibility to service new market driven opportunities for business and investors alike. With road 67 opening in 2019; the investor and business community can take full advantage of new trading developments. This brochure describes recommended properties owned by the municipality, which are available for investor consideration. It also showcases examples of recent and successful investment co-operation which recognizes the mutual benefits gained for both investors and the municipality. Our top priority is to provide jobs for everyone in Kaposvár, however, it is not possible without investors. Therefore the Municipality of Kaposvár holds those businesses that generate new jobs and produce value for the community in high esteem. Kaposvár is committed to creating an economic environment that is secure and predictable for all investor partners. I am looking forward to hearing from You.

Yours sincerely K Á R O LY S Z I TA Mayor
