Die Geschichte von Alice Swiss Chocolate begann bei einem Neujahrs-Abendessen 2002 im legendären Downtown-Lokal Indochine. Inspiriert durch die Markenmodelle von Hermes, Patek Philippe und Chanel diskutierten der gebürtige Schweizer Michael Felber und der New Yorker Steven Mark Klein darüber, was es braucht, um eine europäische Luxusmarke des 21. Jahrhunderts zu kreieren. Das Ziel war der vollendete Schweizer Schokoladengenuss. Der Name: Alice. Die limitierte Alice-Debut-Edition wurde im Frühling 2007 auf dem Markt eingeführt und war weltweit auf 1’000 Stück begrenzt. Diese Beispiele Schweizer Machensart verschwanden in kurzer Zeit in den Kreisen der Kunst, Mode und Kulturwelt. Um den Italia-Independent-Gründer und Fiat-Erben Lapo Elkann zu zitieren: «It has a good creative aesthetic, which brings a good energy, feel and appetite.» Ein faszinierendes Abenteuer in der Zukunft edler Schokolade hat begonnen. The founding of ALICE Swiss Chocolate began over a 2002 New Year’s dinner at the famed downtown New York watering hole Indochine. The main point of conversation was if it is possible with todays intense commercial pressures, to establish a new branding paradigm based on awareness and advanced artisanship. Later the same evening, they decided to create the definitive Swiss chocolate experience and to name it ALICE. The limited ALICE DEBUT edition was launched in Spring 2007. These examples of Swiss artisanship disappeared within the upper echalons of art, fashion and society in a short time. To quote the Italia Independent founder and Fiat heir Lapo Elkann: «It has a good, creative aesthetic, which brings a good energy, feel and appetite.» An exciting adventure in the future of fine chocolate has begun.
