HOW IT WORKS Car equipment

Car equipment

The main GSM unit (1) can be installed anywhere in the car and powered directly from the car battery. (110g 80x60x30mm)

Mini Bluetooth intercom unit with volume regulation (1), support slide with quick release (2), professional connector for connection to the helmet (3) (extension cable included). The intercom unit communicates via Bluetooth with the car telephone (4) (battery charger and case included).

The main GSM unit also features an internal battery that ensures 1h communication when the car is switched off and starts recharging automatically when the car is switched on.

The Bluetooth unit (66g 74x47x15mm.) can be placed on the car and connected to the helmet with the extension cable or else it can be placed on the helmet directly and connected with the related connector (3). Mobile telephone (included) to be installed anywhere in the car (battery charger and case included).

The external antenna (2) ensures maximum reception. Professional wiring (3) for connection to the helmet. The keyboard (4) controls volume. The switch (5) turns the system ON and OFF. 1

Car and box technician telephones communicate continually. When the technician wants to talk, he presses the transmission key on the headset. When the driver wants to talk, he just can do it with no need for activations. Thanks to digital noise cancellation the technician does not hear background noises coming from the car even if the communication is always active. Should the connection fail, the system would automatically reconnect.

ST-3O des Two Modes: Intercom 1: The best Stilo audio quality, available in any kind of car. • Intercom 2: Driver Extra Filter: fitted with a filter specifically developed by Stilo for usage in S2000 and used by many drivers in the IRC 2010. Background noises are strongly damped and the driver can hear the co-driver’s voice at a louder volume. As the co-driver shall hear a lower driver’s voice volume, the usage while transferring to Road mode is not recommended. •

Emergency intercom: Switching from one intercom to the other is possible using the “Intercom 1 - Intercom 2” switch, even during the special stage, without having to disconnect the helmet (Fig.1). The two systems do not share any components and their power suppy also is separated, this ensures that in case one of the two got damaged, the other would work normally. ST-30 DES is furthermore designed to make sure that the intercom communication is preserved. Should a radio, mobile phone or camera component experience a damage, the intercom would work anyway.

Radio: ST-30-DES can be connected by wire to the most common radio systems, according to the scheme in the instructions. Active in Road mode, inactive in Stage mode. Camera: An on board camera can be connected to directly record audio tracks from the intercom.

Features: New Features include furthur improved Audio quality derived from the ST-30 and, thanks to the “Extra filter” switch it ensures excellent noise cancelling quality even in a Super 2000, the most noisy car beyond dispute. Activating the Extra Filter function, background noises are strongly damped and the co-driver’s voice can be louder to the driver’s ears. Since the driver’s voice volume shall be lower to the co-driver instead, it is recommended that the Extra Filter is deactivated on transfer.

Telephone: WRC DES can be wirelessly connected to all Bluetooth mobiles. All controls can be handled with the button on the rear side: on/ off, pairing, call answer, last number called service, audio volume regulation.

Specifically designed for roll-bars fitment. ON/OFF control with the co-driver plug-in (never to forget to switch the intercom off); separated volumes, 9 V standard power supply and 12 V available option. Radio: Transceivers can be connected to the intercom (listening only) setting the internal switch to Radio in.

WRC DES 9V Also available is a version of the WRC DES EVO to be used on 9V power. While it retains the advanced audio quality of the WRC DES EVO, it does not have Bluetooth capability which some people do not need.

New Features include separate driver and co-driver volume and vastly improved audio quality. 9 V unit, ON/OFF led, antivibration rubber for roll-bar installation, special Stilo cables for seat belts fastening and metal jack. Only works with Trophy Electronics system in Trophy Helmets.
