This is a very special day you are planning so at Rainforest Ranch we can help plan the wedding that YOU want by designing a package just for you. We would be very happy to show you around Rainforest Ranch and discuss your wedding requirements … this way you are able to see our facilities and the many options we are able to offer. An accurate quote can then be provided according to your needs and/or budget. Since Cyclone Marcia the restoration of foliage within the Rainforest has been exceptional and the subsequent clean-up has, in fact, led to some notable improvements. We now have a new area specifically designed to accommodate marquee receptions and our car parking facilities have been expanded. Rather than offer set packages we will design with you, a package that will, importantly, allow you to plan your wedding in a way that suits your needs & budget. Your package will be based on 3 components. Venue Rates, Accommodation Rates and Food Service Rates. Extra services are available & our Licenced Bar operates during your event.

We therefore suggest that you take an opportunity to visit us. That way we can show you ALL that Rainforest Ranch has to offer and discuss options for your event. We can then provide you with a quote that will be held firm to the time of your event.

We offer a commitment to service that will ensure your event is the success you desire. We have had many years of experience in organising events. We operated a party hire business for a number of those years and have experience in food and beverage catering. Venue

As there are many options available at Rainforest Ranch, Venue Rates are calculated on YOUR REQUIREMENTS. For weddings there is a Venue Hire Fee of $750. After discussing your ceremony, reception and meal style, a set-up fee per guest is then calculated and added based on your requirements. The set-up fee starts at $6.00/per guest. General Inclusions in all Venue Rates are:       

Exclusive use of all facilities, gardens, pool area and reception area for your ceremony and reception. Set-up of ceremony & reception areas excluding decorations. Tables, chairs and white linen tablecloths & napkins. Skirting for special tables. Signing table & chairs. Glassware, Cutlery Crockery for tables. (As required for meal style). Cake knife/server set.

   

PA system & microphones. Connect your own music via your own selected playlist on an IPod, laptop or similar. Wide screen TV available in reception area. 2 White 3m x 3m pop-up Marquees for lawn. Use of a range of props and decorations, including, wedding arch, shepherd hooks, lanterns, tea light holders, white Bali flags, and more.

Optional Inclusions in Venue Rates The following items can be provided as optional inclusions.     

Depending on your event requirements any other hired extras deemed necessary and extraordinary services provided by Rainforest Ranch are in addition to the above venue rates. Such extras may incur delivery charges. Barbecue Area The BBQ area at Rainforest Ranch is available for use by resident guests during their stay.

BBQ’s, Dinners and Breakfasts Rainforest Ranch can provide Dinners & Breakfast for resident guests during their stay. We can also arrange BBQs, Dinners and Breakfast for larger groups. We will be happy to arrange a quote based on your needs and numbers .

Receptions Styles Roving Menu If your choice is for something casual a roving menu provides for canapés and finger foods to be served to your guests over a set period of time while they mingle and socialise around our facilities and gardens. Numbers are not restricted and as it involves the least setting up, can be very cost effective. Set-up fee approx. $6.00 p/p Buffet A buffet provides for a range of selected foods to be provided at tables from which guests serve themselves. Guests are seated at tables as per seating plan. Once again this style is not restrictive on numbers. Set-up fees from $8.00 p/p. Plated Alternate Drop Need something a bit more formal? Guests are seated at tables as per seating plan but remain seated while pre-selected meals are alternatively served at the tables. Serving of meals commences at a predetermined time. Numbers are restricted to ensure quality of service. Setup fees start from $8.00 p/p. The Shed Our reception area, affectionately called “The Shed,” caters up to 75 people for buffet style and plated alternate drops of approx 45 people.

Marquees When your guest list out grows “The Shed” or if you simply just desire it, a marquee provides a stunning reception area. Very affordable Marquees of various sizes are available to suit your reception for guest list of up to 200 people.

Accommodation

A requirement for Weddings and Functions at Rainforest Ranch on weekends (Friday/Saturday) is that all our 6 cabins are booked out during the event. This ensures exclusive use of our facilities and prevents any inconvenience being caused to non-event guests occupying cabins and desiring to use facilities. Venue only options are available midweek. Accommodation rates are either payable by the event organiser or can be paid by the actual guests occupying the cabins which reduces the costs to the organiser. Accommodation Rates Weekend: Friday - Sunday

$195 per Cabin/Per Couple/Per Night (Minimum 2 Night Stay) Mid-week: Monday - Thursday $170 per Cabin/Per Couple/Per Night (Minimum 1 Night Stay)   

NB:

Extra nights are available at discounted rates. 1 x extra night free for Bride & Groom. The cottages are designed for couples but can accommodate 1 extra adult or 2 small children on a sofa bed. Rates $55 per adult or $27.50 per child. These rates are current at time of printing but are subject to change. Firm rates will be quoted at time of booking.

Food Service

Our appointed caterers, Tall Poppy Catering, will provide an excellent variety of food options for your event. They will design a menu to suit your tastes and negotiate pricing with you. Their award winning chef has many years’ experience in function catering. Everything from a simple BBQ to an exquisite plated 3-course dinner. Roving menus and sumptuous buffets are a specialty. All are tailored to suit your needs. Some sample menus are on the next page. Prices start at $26.50 / head for Adults. Children’s meals are also available.

Stand Up Function Canapé Menu Canapés Select six canapés to be served over 90 minutes Queensland mango, Prawn and avocado shooters. Wagyu beef Pattie and haloumi stack. Franklin River smoked salmon capped by king Island double brie. Juicy free range sautéed chicken nestled on Portuguese smoked corn salsa. Yeppoon style Bruschetta made with Crab, Roma tomatoes, drizzled with basil infused virgin olive oil. Sundried Tomato and grilled autumn vegetable frittata. Two Course Alternate Drop Menu Main course Roast Tableland Pork accompanied by herb chats potato, autumn garden vegetables and apple compote with pan jus gravy. Mustard Crusted Beef Slow cooked, Scallop potatoes and new season greens, nappe’ red wine gravy.

Dessert Individual Apple and Pear Crumble with warm custard Moroccan. Chocolate Mousse topped with whipped fresh cream and vanilla wafer biscuit. Price per head $34.50
