What We Offer The Raggalds offers full central heating, a large amount of natural light and views overlooking the valleys. Perfect for all occasions from a meeting of 10, a conference facilty for 100 delegates, a wedding for 200 or a birthday for 250. The Raggalds has an a la carte restaurant and a fully stocked bar which could be made available from 9.00am to 12.30am. We also offer a bespoke menu package, which can be enjoyed in the privacy of the function room or within the ambience of the restaurant. Our Promise: • • • •

All guests will be greeted on arrival and shown to the function room Your room and food requirements will be ready for you 30 minutes prior to your arranged times If required, jugs of water will be available throughout the event. Lunch and refreshments will be served promptly throughout your function as agreed.

Service Delivery Guarantee The Raggalds meetings and events standards will ensure your day runs efficiently and professionally. You will receive the highest standard of products and services including : •

Immediate acknowledgement of all enquiries and a response within an agreed timescale.



One point of contact to handle all of your event details.

• A member of the events team for support and advice throughout your event. •

No hidden extras. All the prices will be simply presented in plain English, so they are clearly understood.



The function room set up as requested, at least 30 minutes prior to your event, unless agreed otherwise.



Refreshment breaks and meals will start and finish as per timescales previously agreed.



A three day follow up call tp discuss your event.



Conference final invoice within 7 days of your event, clearly reflecting the written quotation, plus any extra charges you have authorised.

Terms & Conditions Cost & Catering

£150 non refundable deposit will be required on booking to secure date required. This deposit is an additional cost to any food or entertainment ordered. No further cost is incurred for the room hire. Payments After food is ordered and finalised, the full amount will be payable fourteen days prior to the event. If the event is cancelled after this period the full amount will become non refundable. Payment by cash, cheque or credit card is acceptable. Damage The Raggalds reserve the right to charge for any damage caused by you or your guests during your event. The Raggalds accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to any property brought onto the grounds by you or your guests. Cancellations If The Raggalds is unable to honour any booking for reasons beyond its control, it shall be entitled to cancel the bookings without liability. Drugs Policy* We have a strict zero tolerance drug policy. Events will be stopped and the police will be called should any drugs be found on the premises. Entertainment Our in house DJ charges £170, payable with final deposit. You can arrange to bring your own entertainment, however, all artists used including DJ’s will be asked to produce their own public liability insurance at least one week prior to your event.

Terms & Conditions Licence Licencing hours are until 12.30 (last orders 12.15) for private fuctions held in the function room. Only alcohol purchased at The Raggalds may be consumed on our premises. Any alcohol found will be confiscated and thrown away. Decorations Own decorations can be used or we can provide decorations for an arranged price. For example balloons, confetti, banners etc. 18th & 21st Birthday Policy We do have strict guidlines in place for underage drinking and uncontrollable behaviour. For security reasons a registered door person will be required for these events at the rate of £12 per hour. If the event is for more than 75 persons, 2 door persons will be required. Any trouble caused, said person(s) will be asked to leave. If a dispute does not get resolved then it may result in your event being cancelled by us and the police being called. ID must be provided by each member of the party. *DRUG POLICY The following steps will be carried out by staff during trading hours and at the end of every event to check the premises for signs of drug use. • •

Collect glasses and clean tables looking for any signs of drug taking Check toilets - Ladies & Gents. Look out for traces of drug use on flat surfaces, including toilet seats, shelves and window ledges. Also checking outside for similar signs.

If your have reason to believe there are drugs being taken or dealt on the premises, you must immediately report it to the manager.
