Travel from Laredo, Texas, USA to Rio de Janiero, Brazil in order to present at the International Topography Conference. Along the way, you must stop at 10 major cities to collect Rock & mineral samples. You will keep a journal of your findings, expenses (so you can get your money refunded through a
grant), descriptions of local culture, pictures, a map of your journey, and any other interesting things that happened to you along the way. You may travel on your journey with friends, but remember that each of you must keep a separate journal. Step 1- Planning your road trip. You are starting your road trip in

Step 2- Mapping out your road trip out. Complete chart for your
road trip. First, write down each stop on the chart. Afterwards, use the mileage chart below your chart to get the distance to your next stop. Lastly, draw your route for your road trip on the map. Make sure your route includes all of the 10 cities you selected.
Step 3- Road Trip Country Reports. Now that you have selected the
cities/countries you will be exploring on your road trip you are going to complete the country report for each stop. You want to make sure
that you are educated about the culture, history, and geography of the countries you will be visiting during the road trip. Make sure you
plan what major landmark you will be visiting in the city you stop at.
Step 4- #Latin America Road Trip. Make sure to take a lot of pictures on your road trip. Especially the land marks in each city. Your
friends and family are going to check on you through Instagram and you don’t want to let them down. Draw a picture of the major
landmark you visited for each stop on your road trip. (IT NEEDS TO
BE THE SAME ONE YOU PUT ON THE COUNTRY REPORT) Make sure you include a unique hashtag that describes what country and
landmark you visited. After you have completed your road trip you will color the pictures. (You will be graded on creativity and effort.)
