Note: Settings configuration is only required upon initial use of NETS or if a different cable is selected.

5. Click on Change Password only if desired. This is not required by or connected to Settings configuration. Clicking this button will take you to screens which will guide you through the password change process.

Before performing this operation, the following conditions must be met:

a. The battery potential must be between 12.5 and 14.4 volts b. The International-Branded interface cable is connected properly and securely to the vehicle c. The International-Branded interface cable is connected properly and securely to the EZ-Tech® computer (unless an EZ-Tech® Link is used) d. The cable selected during settings configuration and the cable in use are the same e. The ABS and electronic transmission ECUs are unplugged at the modules f. The vehicle ignition key is turned to the OFF position

1. Input the last eight VIN characters 2. Choose one of the following programming options and click the Get button: Reflash–Install New Strategies Used to obtain the most current strategies available. A file will be returned during the Receive operation if new strategies are available.

Change Parameters Used to change vehicle programming parameters. If more current ECM and/ or IDM strategies are available they will be returned during the Receive operation. If not only the parameter file is returned.

Replace or Blank Module Used for module replacement or blank module initialization. Programming must only be done with the intended-for-use module. Requires input of mileage, engine hours and fuel consumption. A file will be returned during the Receive operation with the Parameter file and ECM and/or IDM strategies.

3. Follow the instructions on the screen to verify completion of Get operation and to return to the Interface screen.

Before performing this operation, the EZ-Tech® computer must be connected to the Internet. This will require disconnecting the interface cable from the EZ-Tech® computer unless you are using an EZ-Tech® Link wireless interface.

1. Highlight chassis number and click Send 2. When login screen appears, input username and password and click Login 3. Follow the instructions on the screen to verify completion of Send operation and to return to the Interface screen

Click the Receive button on the Interface Screen to access this screen

Before performing this operation, the EZ-Tech® computer must be connected to the Internet.

1. Highlight chassis number and click Receive 2. When Login screen appears, input username and password and click Login 3. Follow the instructions on the screen to verify completion of Receive operation and to return to the Interface screen 4. Disconnect the EZ-Tech® computer from the Internet

3. Follow the instructions on the screen to verify completion of Program operation and to return to the Interface screen

4. Click the Exit button to leave NETS 5. Connect ABS and electronic transmission ECUs at the modules

MasterDiagnostics® is used to verify the programming process. Be sure to select the appropriate version of MasterDiagnostics® for the vehicle you have programmed (3BX, DLC or DLC II).

Click on one of the following buttons on the EZ-Tech® GUI screen to access this screen.

1. From the main MasterDiagnostis® screen, click the VIN+ button. 2. Click on the Clear button to clear any diagnostic trouble codes displayed in the Diagnostic Trouble Codes Window.

3. Close the MasterDiagnostics® window by clicking the “X” in the upper right corner of the screen. 4. You have verified the Programming process.
