Trusted Corridor Weigh Station Software Installation 04/20/2010 Operating System and networking The system has a base install of Windows 7 64 bit edition. In addition, the machine has 2 network cards. The first is for connectivity to the state network and internet. The second network interface is for a private network to the PIPS camera. On the second network interface, set a private static IP address and ensure that windows firewall is completely disabled. Also, be sure to make note of the IP address because the PIPS camera will later need to be configured to send data to this machine. Install Java 1) Install the Java development kit. Included on this CD as jdk-6u18-windows-x64.exe. Accept all default options. Ignore the registration web site that pops up after installation. 2) Create a JAVA_HOME system environment variable: JAVA_HOME=c:\Program Files\Java\jdkl.6.0_18 3) Edit the PATH system environment variable add %JAVA_HOME%\bin To set environment variables, click the windows logo in the bottom left of the screen. Then right click on "Computer" menu option, then click the "Properties" option. Click "Advanced system settings" on the left of the screen. The System Properties dialog will appear. Click the "Environment Variables ... " button to variables.

Give the the public key file idJsa.pub. Do NOT give them the private key file. They should give you a username, server ip, server port, and path to the new directory for this new weigh station. Take those values and configure them in c:\etc\tc\tc.properties as described in a prior section of this docnment.
