Workshop Introduction Why PSoC? There are many other microcontrollers and microcontroller platforms available for physical computing. All of those tools take the messy details of microcontroller programming and wrap it up in an easy-to-use package.PSoC (Programmable System-onChip) is a family of microcontroller integrated circuits by Cypress Semiconductor. These chips include a CPU core and mixed-signal arrays of configurable/programmable integrated analog and digital peripherals.PSoC also simplifies the process of working with microcontrollers, but it offers some advantage for teachers, students, and interested amateurs over other systems:    
