SAS Protocol Analyzers and Exercisers

Colors and graphics are used to represent SCSI operations, transactions and frames
The Frame Tracker display gives a high-level view of primitives and frames across multiple links
LeCroy's analyzers and exercisers for Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) delivers the power, flexibility and features you need. Built on the CATC™ 10K Platform, the SASTracer™ analyzer and SASTracer/Trainer™ system support SAS and SATA traffic in 1.5 and 3.0 Gbps speeds. The SASTracer analyzer offers a variety of trace displays, including the Frame Tracker display that shows a high-level view of traffic across lanes. It can spool traffic recording sessions to disk to give users the ability to analyze operations over long time periods. It may also be used in multi-protocol environments to capture and analyze traffic in conjunction with SATA and Fibre Channel analysis products from LeCroy.

itive display of bus traffic. Multiple SASTracer systems can be cascaded together to provide a time-synchronized display of traffic across 8 or 16 links. SASTracer analyzer has 4 sets of connectors that can capture and display traffic from either 2- or 4-wide port configurations or from up to 8 points along a complex topology.
SASTracer/Trainer Protocol Analyzer and Exerciser When configured with the SASTrainer™ exerciser option, the SASTracer can transmit a single link of 1.5 or 3 Gbps traffic while providing 1 or 2 recording channels. The SASTracer/Trainer system also offers full Serial ATA-II (SATA-II) support, allowing this all-in-one test platform to seamlessly address both SAS and SATA debug challenges. Anything recorded with the analyzer can be converted to a script in seconds and played back using the SASTrainer exerciser module. The SASTrainer exerciser offers the ability to branch conditionally in the script based upon incoming bus traffic and allows for error insertion.

Fibre Channel Protocol Analyzers
SATA Protocol Analyzers and Exercisers
LeCroy's family of Serial ATA (SATA) protocol analyzers and exercisers include the SATracer™ 3G analyzer, the SATracer/Trainer™ 3G system, and 1.5 Gbps products. The SATracer 3G analyzer has the same features as its SAS 3G counterpart and uses the same hardware modules. The SATracer analyzer may be configured to capture traffic in multi-protocol environments with SAS and Fibre Channel analyzers. The FCTracer™ family supports 4, 2, and 1 Gbps speeds. The FCTracer triggering system offers two independent sequencers that can track two unrelated series of events in parallel, with up to 256 levels of trigger logic and up to six "events" per level. LeCroy’s FCTracer analyzer may be used in multi-protocol environments to capture and analyze traffic in conjunction with SAS and SATA analysis products from LeCroy. LeCroy's Verification Script Engine (VSE) for Fibre Channel allows users to create scripts that automate analysis tasks by performing precise calculations on captured traffic.
SATracer 3G Protocol Analyzer The SATracer analyzer offers real-time hardware triggering on multiple levels of the SATA protocol including out-of-band signals, errors, primitives, FIS, and ATA commands. Filtering strategies can extend SATracer's 2 GB recording capacity and with "spool-to-disk" recording, the analyzer can capture time-stamped trace data for I/O oper-
FCTracer 4G Protocol Analyzer The FCTracer 4G system is LeCroy's next-generation Fibre Channel protocol analyzer supporting all transfer rates. The FCTracer 4G analyzer is a hardware plug-in module for the CATC 10K platform. Users can cascade together up to 4 FCTracer ana-
ations that occur over long periods of time. Available with 1, 2 or 4 recording channels, the SATracer 3G analyzer can also be cascaded with multiple LeCroy systems to provide a synchronized display of SATA traffic across 8 or 16 links.

SATracer and SATracer/Trainer 1.5G Protocol Analyzer and Exerciser Versions of the SATracer analyzer and SATracer/Trainer system are also available for the 1.5 Gbps speed and are based on the CATC 2500H platform.
SCSI Protocol Analyzers LeCroy offers a line of SCSI bus analyzers for protocol analysis and verification. These analyzers provide fast, efficient and accurate debug, test and verification of Ultra2 LVD SCSI and Ultra160 SCSI semiconductors, devices, and systems, with some support for Ultra320. Verisys SV-8320™ Ultra160 SCSI Analyzer Verisys SV-8320 is a SCSI bus analysis system that supports Ultra160 analysis and has limited support for Ultra320 packetized protocol. Offering a unique combination of power and portability, the SV-8320 is the ideal solution for SCSI test and verification.
Verisys SV-4080™ Ultra2 LVD Verisys SV-4080 sets the standard for Ultra2 LVD SCSI analysis when developing device drivers and firmware for SCSI subsystems and host bus adapters to ensure compliance with the Ultra2 specification.
Infiniband Protocol Analyzers LeCroy's InfiniBand protocol analyzers dramatically shortens engineering development cycles and reduces the costs of developing InfiniBand-based semiconductors, switches, routers, and software. The InfiniBand line includes the IBTracer™ 4X InfiniBand protocol analyzer and the IBTracer. IBTracer 4X Protocol Analyzer IBTracer 4X, the world's first 4X analyzer for the InfiniBand architecture, supports four 2.5 Gbps InfiniBand lanes. The analyzer also offers support for 1X.
IBTracer Protocol Analyzer IBTracer is designed for analysis of InfiniBand 1X traffic.
