contents Welcome to the Calgary Public Library’s Fall 2014 Program Guide for Kids and Teens. Once again we offer a range of programs for all ages and stages. The whole family is invited to hear the CPO in your Library, see a magic show, and celebrate Library milestone birthdays. Preschoolers can enjoy Storytimes that celebrate the seasons, school kids can hear readings by their favourite authors and watch performances by Calgary Young People’s Theatre and teens can learn confidence-building life skills. Finally, our ‘Just for Parents’ programs give advice on every stage of your child’s life. We have also made changes to our very popular early literacy programs. Parent-Child Mother Goose is now for ages 0 to 12 months, and Baby Bookworms is for older babies aged 13 to 23 months. These and other changes will help to ease the overwhelming demand for these bonding and enriching classes. Explore what’s offered at each of Calgary’s 18 Community Libraries and register your family today. See you there!
