DDG is a world leader in its particular field. Their work supports recovery in Northern Uganda as Unexploded ordnances (UXO) and to a lesser degree landmines remain an obstacle to the return process. An important part of their work is also capacity building of the Ugandan army and information activities in schools etc. Supported under Danida’s NGO assistance.

Ugandan organic cotton value chain: from farmer to fashion. 10,000 farmers to grow and deliver cotton. Visit the ginnery and its warehouses. Briefing on cotton’s history in Acholi land and the role of this Danida supported partnership in post- emergency development. Supported under Danida’s Business-to-Business (B2B) programme with strong synergies to the larger Uganda Growth Programme.
