Master Thesis (7,5 ECTS) •

Students write a thesis on a subject of their own choice, supervised by a member of staff from one of the research groups participating in the MSc programme. Students write a research proposal based on the outcome of either their major j or minor research project. The choice of subject can be determined by personal interest and will often be related to future career plans, p e.g. possibilities for a PhD project or specific areas of research in connection with industrial job opportunities. Duration: approximately 5 weeks.

Life Science seminars (1,5 ECTS) • Scope: To broaden your horizon • 10 times a year (Xtrack : 2 seminars) • 10 visits mandatory d (4 ( may b be d different ff from f LS seminars) • Take notes on each seminar you visit • Every third Thursday of the month • http://www.uu.nl/university/education/EN/graduatescho ols/gsls/students/ProgrammeOutline/seminars/Pages/de f lt fault.aspx • Xtrack: September 22
