Présentation de l'établissement / The School : Part of the network Grandes Ecoles (elite schools in France), ESC Dijon / Burgundy School of Business is a growing institution providing undergraduate and graduate education to more than 2,300 students from all over the world. The School is accredited Epas (EFMD) and AACSB. It currently operates with three campuses in France (Dijon, Lyon, and Paris). It is also a multicultural place to work with a faculty that is 36% non-French from more than 15 different countries and over 30% international students from 61 countries.

Description des postes / The positions: ESC Dijon/Burgundy School of Business is hiring French- and/or English-speaking part-time faculty (guest lecturers/enseignants vacataires) to teach undergraduate students in Dijon and Lyon in the following disciplines during the academic year 2016-2017: Department of Management of Organisations and Entrepreneurship:     

Economics: micro- and macroeconomics, international economics (Autumn and Spring) Quantitative methods (Autumn) Management of organisations (Spring) Information technologies for managers (Autumn and Spring) International business: management of international operations, international contracts, international HRM, international taxation (Spring)

Department of Languages and Cultures (in both Dijon and Lyon) to teach:    

Business English courses (presentation techniques, job interview skills, etc.) Proficiency test preparation courses (IELTS, TOEIC) Academic English (note-taking, reference citation, etc.) Business Spanish, German, Italian, French and Arabic

Profil recherché / Profile:     

Master's degree in relevant academic discipline Management classes: good command of English language / ability to teach in English Language and culture classes: native-level proficiency (C2+) Interest in pedagogy Undergraduate student teaching record

Enjoy the French way of life in a beautiful location ESC Dijon/Burgundy School of Business is located in Eastern France, one hour and a half away from Paris by train and less than two hours from Lyon, the two major cities of France. The positions ESC Dijon/Burgundy School of Business develops its faculty through the recruitment of nine (9) professors showing a significant capacity for publication as well as proven experience in conducting research and teaching in English and in French at both undergraduate and graduate level, in the following fields: Department of Marketing: -

Sales/negotiation Customer Relationship Management Big Data Multi-channels Communication M-commerce/ e-commerce / new technologies/ digital marketing.

Department of Management of Organisations and Entrepreneurship: -

Human Resource Management Theory of Organisations Information Systems Entrepreneurship.

Department of Management, Law and Finance: -

Finance Accounting Management control

Appointments for permanent professorships are made depending on research record, teaching record in management in higher education and business experience. Young researchers with high research potential will be considered. ESC Dijon/Burgundy School of Business has a permanent multicultural Faculty of more than 60 professors who form a diverse but cohesive community where it is pleasant to work.

Profile We are looking for faculty who wish to invest in a school on a human scale, with a strong identity, based on the quality of teaching, the proximity between faculty and students, and multiple strong ties with the local Community. In accordance with our strategic plan, high-potential candidates: • Have completed a doctoral degree in a business-related field and in an internationally recognized institution. • Demonstrate excellent potential to publish in high quality peer-reviewed research journals in management disciplines. • Have a track record of teaching in English. • Are willing to contribute in a proactive and collegial manner to her/his Academic Department and to the Institution as a whole. • Have the desire to contribute to the local, national and international visibility of the School (including research, academic, business communities). Knowledge of French is not required, but is a plus. French lessons are proposed to all new international faculty recruits. Salary will be commensurate with prior performance and experience, and our incentives are highly competitive. Once integrated in ESC Dijon/Burgundy School of Business, they will be members of an established research Chair/group within the institution. Funding for conference attendance, research support, access to relevant databases, as well as teaching and research assistantship (for qualified Faculty) are available.
