Sriver, Meeting was called to order by A. Truell at 3:30 1. Minutes from the December 10, 2014 meeting were approved with a friendly admendment. 2. Department of Mathematics (Dr. Ann Leitze) Revised Courses: Math 496 – Capstone Math Teaching Math 519 – Quantitative Reason Teachers (removed from agenda, not part of licensure program). Math 694 – Research Methods Math Education Motion to approve minor changes to the prerequisites for Math 496 and Math 694 carried. 3. Department of Music (Dr. Kim Inks) Revised Courses: MUSE 100, 150, 250, 252, 253, 254, 256, 258, 350, 351, 353, 355, 356, 375, 376, 457. Motion to approve a requirement to limit the number of attempts of each course to two attempts, with an attempt defined as any registration that results in a grade or a W, carried. 4. Department of Counseling Psychology and Guidance Services (Dr. Renae Mayes) Revised Course: CPSY 614 – Career Counseling Assessment Motion to drop prerequisite approved. Revised Program: MA in Counseling School Concentration Motion to add SPCE 600 and CPSY 614 to core curriculum and to drop CPSY 610 as required and CPSY 657 as an option carried. 5. Department of Educational Leadership (Dr. Marilynn Quick) Revised Program: Specialist in Education in School Superintendent Motion to make editorial change to catalog copy for clarification carried.

6. Department of Elementary Education (Dr. Jill Miels) Revised Program: Elementary Education Graduate Programs Motion to revise catalog copy of program description for clarification carried. Revised Courses: EDRD 545 – Integrating Technology in Literacy Program EDRD 620 – Disc and Integrated Literacy in Elem Classrooms EDRD 640 – Issues in Teaching of Literacy EDRD 680 – Classroom Literacy Assessment Motion to change titles of each course to more accurately reflect the terminology in the area of literacy carried. Revised Courses: EDRD 690 – Reading Practicum EDRD 692 – Clinical Diagnosis of Reading Difficulties Motion to change prerequisites to more suitable courses carried. Revised Course: EDEL 645 – Advocacy and Leadership in Childhood Education Motion to change title to one more appropriate to the content carried. 7. Program Form Update – A. Truell presented the draft of the form that will be used for programs to indicate how they wish to be represented under the new PEC structure (recently approved by University Senate). Programs wishing to have one delegate represent multiple programs will submit forms with the required signatures (program managers, department chairs, deans of the respective areas) to Allen Truell by Friday, February 27. A motion to approve the form with editorial changes was approved. The new form is attached here. 8. EPP Eligibility Program Chart – A. Truell and L. Mullen shared the most current list of program eligible for representation on PEC. Program managers who have not confirmed the accuracy of the list needs to send an email to Nikki Sherfy.
