SKIN CONTACT

Heating can release hazardous gases, nitrogen oxides (NOx). In case of fire and/or explosion do not breathe fumes. Remove from exposure, lie down. Oxygen or artificial respiration if needed. Obtain medical attention. Wash off immediately with soap and plenty of water

EYE CONTACT

Rinse thoroughly with plenty of water, also under the eyelids.

INGESTION

Induce repeated vomiting. Information to doctor or other trained persons giving first aid Effects of breathing high concentrations of vapour may include nitrogen oxides (NOx). Symptoms of poisoning may not appear for several hours. Keep under medical supervision for at least 48 hours.

Prevent entry to sewer or surface water. Remove all sources of ignition. Damaged rounds can be safely repacked for disposal using mechanical non sparking tools. Repack in suitable container. Loose propellant can be swept up into suitable container for disposal in an EOD approved manner.

SECTION VII – HANDLING AND STORAGE Handling

Storage

The cartridges are robust products which are safe to handle under normal conditions The unpacked cartridge should be handled with care to avoid any form of accidental electrical discharge. Ammunition should be stored in clean, dry and well ventilated magazines within the temperature range +5°C to +38°C Cartridges should be kept in the packaging supplied up to the point of use. Under stated storage condition, a shelf life of 5 years is expected. Pallet stacks should be restricted to 3m high
