Cayman New! Cayman is the first compact addition to Caribbean Jewels Scilla line. Cayman’s glossy striped buds open to violet blooms with true-blue centers and striking yellow anthers. Compact, matte green leaves cradle large umbels filled with blooms.
Planted in late summer through autumn, ‘Classic White’ blooms continuously through spring, requiring little or no heat if above freezing. Performs best in large containers or tubs. Stems reach 30” (76 cm) or more when given ample root space. Makes a great cut flower. Naturalizes outdoors in areas where soil does not freeze and will grow in wet locations near ponds and bogs.

Sapphire Blue is unique for its striking blue color, large conical flower form and long post-harvest display. Blooms in late winter to early spring. This simple, low input crop requires little or no heat. It is a very drought tolerant garden plant, naturalizing in landscape where ground does not freeze. Ship dates shown on order acknowledgements reflect the week of and not the actual day the order will ship. Shipments generally arrive the week following the requested ship week. Because of potential transit delays, it is best to request a ship date of 2 weeks in advance of planting date. All bulbs must be protected from freezing during transit. We will hold orders if freezing weather persists, therefore delays may occur. Due to holidays we will not guarantee departure dates during the following weeks; Week 48 (Thanksgiving), Week 52 (Christmas) and Week 1 (New Year). Most West Coast shipments are unaffected.
