Jennifer Parton, Jessica Ramsey and Hannah Kelley made it through Area Degree check and their applications are being scored in Austin on the 21st and 22nd of May. These were three of the 25 chosen from over 90 applications to go to the next level. On Saturday May 11th, Jessica Parton was named the Area 8 Ryan Mott Scholarship

Finalist. Her application will be compared to the other 9 Area finalists at State Degree Check where she will be interviewed and then recognized at state convention this summer and the state winner will be announced. $1000 Bosque County Go Texan Scholarship Recipients: Dax Gann Joeph Madson Mykala Madson Hannah Kelley Chase Bowman Blake Gebhardt Will Speer $500 Bosque County Hay Show Scholarship Recipients: Joseph Madson Hannah Kelley Dax Gann Jennifer Parton Jessica Parton Jessica Ramsey This year we have six members that have made it to the final step in obtaining their Lonestar Degree; this is the state FFA degree and the highest honor bestowed on FFA members in Texas. Jessica Parton, Jessica Ramsey, Kelsey Bracknell, Tristen Carnley, Jacob Butler and Wyatt Burch will receive their degrees in Dallas this July at the 85th Annual Texas FFA Convention barring any problems at State check on June 30th.

Brenda

Brenda was born

in September 26, 1992 at San Luis Potosi, Cuidad del Maiz Mexico. She has been attending MISD since kindergarten. Brenda's parents are Maria Luisa and Apsalon Martinez. She has 4 brothers and 1 sister. Brenda's career goals are to become a Psychologist (to help kids with special needs and patients with depression) She wants to go to a junior college and then transfer to a four year univerity and would like to work at Camp John Marc. Her current job after school is at Abuelitas Mexican Restaurant. Brenda's hobbies are: collecting flower clips for her hair and spending time outside. Her favorites are: Pink, dancing, and hanging with friends and family.

Stevi was born on August 3, 1995 at Cleburne Texas. She has been attending at Meridian High school since headstart. Stevi's parents are Patsy and Charlie Williams. She has one brother and one sister. Her extracurricular activities are basketball since 9+11 grade and track 9+11 grade. She also competed in One Act Play. Stevi plans to go to TSTC of Waco and study advertising. She currently has a job after school at Abuelita's at a waitress. Her hobbies are: reading, drawing, and having fun.
