Media Sample Program
Intermec media positively identifies millions of products in hundreds of applications every day. Finding the correct label or tag media can be challenging, but product samples enable quick, positive evaluation to ensure success. Intermec provides free label, tag, ribbon, and receipt samples for Industrial, Desktop, and Mobile printer configurations – allowing you to satisfy the level of testing required. Intermec offers three free sample programs structured to provide what you need for product qualification.

Program 1: Printer Sample Roll Configuration: These samples are configured for use in Intermec’s printer offering, including all three platforms (Industrial, Desktop, Mobile). Samples are listed by printer platform on pages 4-6 of this document. The box also includes either a datasheet with specification information or an Application Brief if the media is designed for a specific application (i.e. wristbands). One sample carton per request, please. Best uses: • Establish print quality performance • Evaluate media durability • Fine-tune printer heat settings • Assess image durability • Evaluate adhesive bond to target surface

Program 2: Thermally-Printed Samples Configuration: Samples are provided as a strip of fifteen labels thermally printed with product information and several bar codes (sample shown below). Best uses: • Assess expected print quality performance • Evaluate media durability • Assess image durability • Evaluate adhesive bond to target surface These media samples are ideal for evaluating Intermec media performance within a specific application. Using these labels, performance can be tested without requiring on-site printing. Most samples are 4”x2” in size. Please refer to the table below for sample availability. Product
