MATERIAL INFORMATION
MATERIAL INFORMATION Wood
Ash, smoked ash, beech, oak, smoked oak, cherry, walnut and mahogany. The wood we use is hard wood of prime quality from Danish suppliers. Walnut and cherry are American. All models are not available in all species. Wood is a natural material and may vary depending on the environment it's placed in (light, humidity and heat).
Laminate
High-pressure laminate is available only in white (NCS S0502-Y). The laminate is colored to the core. The edges are painted.
Treatment
Soap, clear lacquer gloss 20, oil, white pigmented oil.
Color options
Standard colors are shown on the Carl Hansen & Søn color sheet. NCS S0502-Y, NCS S1005-Y, NCS S2075-Y70R, NCS S3030-B, NCS S3502-Y, NCS S4050-R10B, NCS S4550-Y80R, NCS S6020-B50G, NCS S6020-G50Y, NCS S6020-R80B, NCS S6030-B90G, NCS S7502-B, NCS S9000-N. Be aware that oak and ash have clearly visible wood structure when painted, therefore they are only available in black (NCS S9000-N). Beech is available in all the mentioned colors.

Customized paint or stain colors can be specified for an additional fee of $460. This additional fee applies per customization and per order. A customized sample must be approved by the customer prior to production. Tables are not available in customized surfaces.

If you have any questions regarding BS5852 Crip 5 standard for fire regulation please contact your local Sales Manager. COL/COM
Standard fabrics and leather are not available as COM/COL. We need to receive and approve a sample of the wanted fabric before we can start to upholster. We keep the right to reject any COM/COL and we will charge an extra fee if the department for upholstery find that the work will demand extra working hours. The fee for handling non standard fabric is $110. We also keep the right to pass on any invoice carrying extra cost related to the clearance of the COM/COL.
Leaves
Tables are made with up to 4 leaves. Please note that if a table is ordered with more than one solid wooden leaf, then only one extension leaf is produced from the exact same wood as the table top; minor variations may occur in other leaves. Color codes: • MDF grey: NCS S2502-Y • MDF black: NCS S9000-N. Due to the edge profile, laminate leaves can only be used with laminate tables, and MDF leaves can only be used with solid wooden tables.

Prices All prices are in US dollars. This price list replaces all previously published price lists. Prices are subject to change without notice. All applicable costs such as taxes, domestic freight, and delivery and handling charges are extra.

Transportation damage or product defects
Factory Lead Time
Purchaser shall inspect all products received and notify the freight carrier directly of any damage claim in writing within 7 days from receipt of goods. Purchaser shall also note any damage in writing on the Bill of Lading. All product packaging must be retained for inspection.
Approx. 6 to 8 weeks production for chairs & tables, from receipt of order with final complete specifications. Please consult your Carl Hansen & Søn Area Sales Manager for factory lead time on any specific model.
Any production defect shall be reported to Carl Hansen & Søn’s sales representative in writing within 7 days from receipt of goods. Carl Hansen & Søn reserves the right to repair or replace the goods upon inspection and approval by Carl Hansen & Søn.
Transit Time
Minimum Advertising Pricing Policy
The overseas transit time / arrival time at New Jersey warehouse is approximately 4 weeks after departure from the Aarup, Denmark facility. Arrival date to the end user is determined by the dealer. Arrival dates will depend upon container schedules. Any delays incurred by U.S. customs and force majeure are out of the control of Carl Hansen & Søn.
The enclosed 2015 retail prices shall be used as a minimum in all your advertising and marketing materials, including catalogues, brochures, direct mail, newspaper or magazine placements, web-sites, on-line auctions, e-commerce or e-mail, radio or television broadcasting etc.
Estimated delivery lead time for the North American Quick Ship furniture program is approx. 2 weeks from receipt of order with final complete specifications. Delivery and Freight Charges All orders are dispatched on an FOB New Jersey warehouse basis only. Domestic freight charges are extra. The purchaser has the option to collect goods from our warehouse by prior agreement with Carl Hansen & Søn. A re-packaging fee of $50 will apply to any orders of single CH24 wishbone chairs.

GROUP B THOR
Semi-aniline leather that has been given a light finish. The treatment makes the leather more resistant, easier to maintain and ensures good abrasion resistance. The leather has the same natural look that characterizes aniline leather and gives great comfort. RECOMMENDED FOR: Restaurants, hotels, public spaces; private homes where maintenance and comfort is well balanced.
GROUP C SIF
Full grain, pure aniline, uncoated, breathable gives optimal comfort. Hides of highest quality. Slight variations within and between hides may occur.
