EmpowerCTA® Double-Barrel CT Injector System EmpowerCTA is a double-barrel CT injector designed for today’s advanced CT procedures that require the use of a saline chase, including cardiac CT. Based on the EmpowerCT® design and technology, EmpowerCTA offers all the same features and benefits, including: patented extravasation detection, tilt sensor/lockout, arming at the injector, ease-of-use, flexibility and expandability.

IRiSCT™ CT Injector Reporting information System IRiSCT is a patent-pending software program that automates the data collection process for all critical functions of E-Z-EM’s Empower injectors. IRiSCT links all Empower injectors in a department across a hospital’s existing data network, including those in remote locations, creating an integrated data management system that radiology administrators can access from the convenience of their offices. IRiSCT helps deliver a more accurate account of actual consumable utilization (syringes, contrast or EDA™ patches). This data may help improve purchasing and budgeting operations and may even increase overall department savings, as it can identify waste in these areas.

PROTOCO2L™ Automated Carbon Dioxide Colon Insufflation System for Virtual Colonoscopy Carbon dioxide is more rapidly absorbed than room air and helps minimize the patient’s post-procedure bloating and cramping. PROTOCO 2L helps reduce staff time during the colon insufflation process and enhance productivity. Automated insufflation helps ensure excellent and consistent distension from patient-to-patient and tech-to-tech. PROTOCO 2L also features a specially designed small tip for patient comfort, as well as safety features to help protect against over-insufflation.

VoLumen® Low Hounsfield Value (LHV) Oral Contrast VoLumen is a patent-pending, neutral oral contrast for MDCT and PET/CT studies. VoLumen works with IV contrast to help achieve better bowel distension and superior lumen-to-wall differentiation compared to positive oral contrasts. VoLumen also helps improve the quality of post-processed 3D images. VoLumen makes it possible to perform a single study of the abdominal and pelvic regions to investigate all organs, vasculature and surrounding structures simultaneously.

Smoothie Readi-Cat® 2 Positive CT Oral Contrast Four great CT oral contrast “Smoothie” flavors, including new Creamy Vanilla, help ensure patient compliance in routine abdominal/pelvic scans. Smoothies transit quickly through the GI tract for optimal patient throughput. With less CT Tech time spent monitoring patient drinking progress, Smoothies also serve as a productivity tool.

E-Z-Cat® Dry Positive CT Oral Contrast E-Z-Cat Dry is the only dry CT barium available. E-Z-Cat Dry helps make home dosing practical. Patients can self-administer at home because the contrast is packaged in convenient, simple-tomix packets. Most patients find its juicy orange-vanilla flavor pleasant tasting, so they are more likely to drink the entire dose. E-Z-Cat Dry transits quickly through the GI tract to provide optimal image quality.

CO2EFFICIENT ™ Endoscopic Insufflator Long procedures such as ERCP, enteroscopy and even colonoscopy may produce excess patient cramping and bloating. These procedures can benefit from carbon dioxide use as it is readily absorbed from the bowel, creating a more comfortable exam. In addition, CO 2EFFICIENT’s proprietary “intelligent” software senses when carbon dioxide is not required by the clinician and reduces its flow. Redundant pressure relief valves, and automatic flow-stop features protect against over-insufflation.

All returns are subject to the following considerations: 1. If the return is due to an E-Z-EM, Inc., (hereafter referred to as “E-Z-EM”) error (such as incorrect item and/or quantity, defective product), goods should be returned to E-Z-EM via a carrier of E-Z-EM’s choice. E-Z-EM will issue the pickup on request. 2. If the return is for other reasons, and if the product is a dated product (with a minimum of one-year shelf life remaining), the customer may ship the goods, prepaid, for credit of the original invoice amount of the returned quantity of that item(s). 3. All returns must be of full, unopened cases. If opened cases are received by E-Z-EM, the contents will be destroyed and credit will not be issued. 4. A restocking charge of 30% will be applied unless the return is due to an error on the part of E-Z-EM. 5. E-Z-EM will only accept goods that are returned within 30 days of having issued the RA Number. 6. E-Z-EM will only accept returned goods within 90 days from the date of purchase. 7. Any item deleted from our product line may be returned up to 6 months from the date of deletion. 8. SPECIAL ORDER AND CUSTOM PRODUCTS ARE NOT RETURNABLE. 9. STERILE PRODUCTS ARE NOT RETURNABLE UNLESS THE RETURN IS DUE TO AN ERROR ON THE PART OF E-Z-EM. 10. Credit will be issued only when all considerations above have been satisfied.

freight carrier. E-Z-EM has no further responsibility once the freight carrier accepts the shipment from E-Z-EM. 2. If the Terms of Sale of the order being received is FOB Destination, the following procedure applies:

The following procedures must be followed as detailed below. In the event that these procedures are not followed, it will be the customer’s responsibility to seek restitution from the delivering carrier for the damaged material. Non-parcel Shipments (Usually applies to truck and air freight shipments with forwarders such as BAX/Schenker, etc.) Freight delivery receipt MUST BE SIGNED AT THE TIME OF ARRIVAL with the following information noted: 1. Date received. 2. Was pallet fully wrapped and intact? If not: 3. Was top sheet intact? If not, please note on the bill of lading. 4. If the original shipment was in a sealed container, and the seal was not intact, it must be noted. 5. Note number of cartons damaged and/or refused. 6. Does the number of cartons received match the number of cartons on the bill of lading? 7. Attempt to have driver sign name confirming damages and/or amount of cartons refused. 8. If the driver will not wait until pallet(s) is/are broken down, attempt to have the driver sign the bill of lading noting that they are unwilling to wait until the count has been verified. All Parcel Shipments (UPS, FedEx, DHL, USPS etc.) Damaged cartons MUST BE REFUSED AT TIME OF ARRIVAL. If product is accepted damaged, contact must be made immediately with the carrier involved to obtain a claim acknowledgement number. Without this number a claim cannot be filed and credit will not be issued.
