Over 12 Million man hours worked on the job site. TRIP has completed renovation to over 50% of the terminal spaces in Terminals A, B and E. Recently completed areas include the final phase of the Terminal A Parking Garage. New and reconfigured Roadways at Terminal E which greatly relieve traffic congestion. No firm who currently has a contract is precluded from pursuing the new contracts.



All new contracts will include specific conflict of interest provisions regarding future contract pursuits.

Business Diversity Programs – valuable consideration in the awarding of Airport contracts Objective: Ensure full and fair access to contract opportunities for all businesses and in particular for D/M/WBE businesses D/M/WBE Evaluation Criteria - must be met for a proposal to be reviewed and considered by selection committee  Responsive – Proposal compliant with requirements; further consideration by Selection Committee  Non-Responsive – Proposal fails to meet the requirements; no further consideration by the Selection Committee



Team Selection  DFW Airport encourages diversity in terms of business disciplines as well as ethnicity and gender among proposing teams.  A Prime cannot require a DBE or M/WBE partner to enter into an exclusive arrangement for purposes of submitting its proposal 25

Business diversity participation goals are a percentage of the contract value and not subcontracting goals only. Goals are not quotas. Options for meeting the goals - Percentage Participation by way of •

Good Faith Efforts (GFE) 

Proposers that are non-certified firms must meet the applicable goals or demonstrate good faith efforts to achieve the goals



A GFE Plan is not a checklist!   

Proposers are required to meet ALL factors outlined and provide support documentation. Factors should not be considered as a template, checklist or some quantitative formula. Submitting the form without support documentation, as a GFE, will automatically deem the Proposer nonresponsive.

Not required to do business with DFW HOWEVER, if claiming DBE or M/WBE credit, must be certified by an approved certification agency at the time of proposal submission in order to be credited Certification certificates must be included with proposal submission for credit Certificates must be current and not expired Commodity codes noted on certificate must be relevant to the proposed services

Relevant Market Area! (applicable to the M/WBE Program) State of Texas HUB certificates are not acceptable. A DBE-certified firm can be counted towards an M/WBE goal. DFW will accept a DBE certificate from an out-of-state U.S. DOT-approved UCP during the interim of the Proposer applying with NCTRCA. Proposer must submit the NCTRCA-assigned Affidavit Number as proof of pending certification with the proposal submission.
