The European Golf Association together with The Bulgarian Golf Association and Pravets Golf Club have the great pleasure to welcome you to participate in the European Men's Club Trophy 2014

Pravets Golf & SPA Resort is located just 50 km away from the Sofia Airport - easily accessible with a 45 minute drive on the Hemus highway, yet distant enough from the daily stress of the big city. The 242 luxury rooms in the RIU Pravets Resort hotel, three fine restaurants, a SPA area of more than 3 000 sq.m, a modern fitness centre, an indoor and an outdoor swimming pools provide a unique experience for the guests of the resort. Pravets Golf Club, managed by Braemar Golf based at St.Andrews in Scotland, offers a Peter Harradine designed 18-hole, par 72, Championship golf course and a state-of-the-art golf academy with an extensive practice area. This parkland-style golf course boasts spectacular views of the local mountains and lake, framed by the impressive RIU Pravets Resort hotel. The par-three eighth hole is the signature hole with its challenging island green. The 9th and the 18th greens are joined in one double green, a well-known feature from the Old Course in St Andrews. The driving range offers a unique experience with its special lighting for dawn or night golfing.

TEAM FEE There is a team fee of € 750 - 3 players and the captain/advisor, covering tournament costs such as: range balls, welcome party and closing dinner, tournament days buffet, airport transport. Starting times for the first and second round will be announced at the Welcome cocktail Tee times for 3rd round and leaderboard will be posted at 19:00 and will be available at the golf course and in the hotel or you can call: 0885 100 893 for start times between 19:00 and 21:30. Captains must register their players at the Tournament office at Pravets Golf Club not later than 12:00 on Wednesday 22nd of Ocotber. Practice rounds will only be allowed on the official practice days. Reservations for practice can be made by e-mailing [email protected]

COMPETITION CONDITIONS The Championship shall be played under the Rules of Golf as laid down by The R&A, the EGA Hard Card, Generic Conditions and EGA specific tournament conditions (all available at : https://www.ega-golf.ch/040000/040104.asp) as well as the local rules approved by the Championship Committee at the championship. Please note the new Grooves Condition: The groove and punch mark Condition in Decision 4-1/1 of the Decisions on the Rules of Golf (page 70) is in effect. COMMUNICATIONS The use of mobile radio transmitters (walkie-talkies) by the Team Players, Team Captain or Team Advisor is prohibited during the Championship.

USEFUL INFORMATION - Medical service will be provided during the whole Championship. - Golf bags can be stored at the golf club storage facility. - The changing rooms are situated in the clubhouse. -

Dress code for Opening and Closing ceremonies is the official Club Team uniform. Driving Range will open daily from 7:00 Massage can be booked in advance or upon arrival. Pull-trolleys are available free of charge. Electric trolleys are not available for rent. Restaurant facilities are available at the Club House. Payment of expenses at the hotel and golf club can be made by credit card. Caddies - no caddies will be available The Pro Shop offers: Callaway, Titleist, Footjoy, Cutter and Buck, Calvin Klein.
