Business Case: GE Power monitors thousands of their Jenbacher engines to maintain compliance with their SLAs but more important to avoid losing power in the major factories and small cities which they serve. Deploying maintenance teams before an outage saves GE ~$1K / engine / year.
Customer Background: GE’s customers use Jenbacher products (typically multi-million dollar purchases) for on-site generation of power, heating, and cooling.
