HORECA JORDAN Under the Patronage of the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities. Third-time presence in Jordan for HORECA JORDAN, the largest Food & Beverage Services and Hospitality Exhibition in the region. The Exhibition was held in Amman, Jordan on the 8 – 10 October, 2016 at the Zara Expo Center at the Grand Hyatt Hotel. The annual exhibition covered: food & beverage services and hospitality Sectors from Jordan and the region, including Palestine, Iraq and Egypt. Various other regional and international countries were present with pavilions. Business networking opportunities were supplemented with different attractions and competitions availing participants with exposure to new and innovative business ideas.

WHAT HAPPENED IN 2016 HORECA JORDAN wrapped up on the 10th of October and delivered yet another successful edition, with over 10,000 trade visitors. The three day event was on par with international trade shows, showcasing the latest hospitality and foodservice trends and innovations.

Review Under the patronage of H.E. Lina Annab, HORECA JORDAN triumphed in attracting a large number of foreign firms, who used the show as a gateway to access Jordanian and regional markets. Exhibitors from Bulgaria, Italy, Turkey, Australia, UAE, Greece, France, UK, Korea, Romania, Ukraine, Lebanon and KSA, were among those present. The show further witnessed a stream of specialized visitors from abroad, trumping previous years.

The renowned Hospitality Salon Culinaire proved to be the event of HORECA, bringing together 120 chefs from hotels, restaurants and hospitals around the country. Competitions were judged by a panel of leading experts from South Africa, Lebanon, France, Palestine, Germany, Austria, Egypt, and Switzerland, headed by the President of the World Association of Chefs Society, Chef Thomas A. Gugler. Elsewhere, the popular Al Ameed Coffee Barista Competition sparked a lot of interest, with 13 participants competing head-tohead for the title of Best Barista, while the Bedmaking Competition and Table Setting Contest also drew in large audiences. HORECA JORDAN 2016 LIVE EVENTS

The Salon Culinaire is part of HORECA JORDAN exhibition. The competition was attended by international and regional Judges. Visitors were invited to watch chefs competing in different categories, and discover the region’s latest culinary concepts and trends and meet a panel of international judges from Europe and the Middle East coming especially for this annual event.

Only during HORECA JORDAN did such a competition take place in Jordan. For the Second time in 2015, the country’s most skilled and professional baristas competed for the coveted title of the Best Barista in Jordan.

HORECA JORDAN – organized the Jordan Bed Making Competition. Hotel Housekeepers and hotel management student are invited to compete and make the perfect bed setting in front of a professional Jury Panel.

Major restaurants, Hotels, Events planner increased their business visibility by setting & decorating their own table – Under the Wedding table theme.
