HOSPITALITY QATAR 2015 TESTIMONIALS

HOSPITALITY QATAR 2015 POSTSHOW REPORT

Antoni JOHNSON Founder and Managing Director of Falcon Technical and Trading Company

Mohammed SOLH Executive Manager at INOX Kitchen Equipment

We have started in 1989 and our business is still growing. This is what Falcon is all about. The exhibition is going very well so far. We have welcomed many professional customers, 20% of them are potential clients. All the suppliers and exhibitors need platforms like Hospitality Qatar to introduce their products. It is ideal to the exhibitor who wants to explain to the customer about the quality and type of the products he can provide to the market in Qatar.

We are a kitchen equipment company and industrial factory for forms and steel. I was actually surprised by the outcome, after welcoming representatives of many 5 stars hotels. We met the right people and this is what matters. I checked the booths and found some new things that are very important for Qatar, which may be considered a small market but it sure includes huge competition. The market needs new systems for all sectors, especially for hospitality and hotels. Very good job!

Sleiman GERGES Food and Beverages Manager at Star Hospitality

Ziad ABI ABDALLAH Marketing Director of Al Sraiya Holding Group

Khalid YOUSEF Elegancia

Hospitality Qatar is the first exhibition I participate to in Qatar. I have met exhibitors from all sectors of Horeca, including kitchen equipment, food and beverages, and many others. We decided to sponsor this show, mainly to promote our brand, and make connections with the customers who are interested in our products. We are satisfied because lots of customers or visitors visited our stand and showed interest in our products, especially that we are targeting 4 and 5 stars hotels. Actually, Hospitality Qatar represents an ideal platform to open channels between suppliers and owners, as well as all the sectors in Horeca.

To be honest this show is super amazing! We participated in this exhibition as a platinum sponsor. We expected a lot from this event and it actually turned out to be beyond our expectations. We met many suppliers and had the chance to do a lot of PR especially in the hospitality field. This is great! We will definitely be participating next year. I believe every supplier in Qatar or the region should participate in such an exhibition because of the booming in the hospitality sector in the country. Hospitality Qatar is the only place where professionals and suppliers can meet under one roof. Participating in this show is a must!

The hospitality sector in Qatar is witnessing a major growth in which we would like to take part. For this reason, we decided to sponsor Hospitality Qatar 2015. The show was very successful; we have networked with a large number of trade visitors and received several leads. Hospitality Qatar is the perfect platform for professionals to meet and network. This event also supports the growth of the hospitality sector and Qatar’s economy in general.

Chef Thomas GUGLER

Askar is sponsoring the Salon Culinaire. We believe the show is ideal to display the mini kitchens and highlight our products. Hospitality Qatar and the Salon Culinaire were very successful and will continue to be in the future. This event represents the highlight of the hospitality sector that brings together several aspects of the industry, from competitions to training workshops.

Hospitality Qatar went very well; we were impressed by the high caliber of the participants, which is a major boost for the exhibitors. We believe that Boecker has a role to play in the growth of the hospitality sector in Qatar, and we have done so by sponsoring the show and conducting free safety training workshops during the event. Hospitality Qatar is the ideal platform through which investors targeting the hospitality sectors can network and conclude business deals with local, regional and international suppliers.

Hospitality Qatar is a great event because it attracts a large local and regional audience. I would also like to commend the Qatar Culinary Professionals’ association on the large number of contestants that they enrolled for the Salon Culinaire. Such massive participation shows that local Chefs are hungry for this kind of events and more than willing to showcase their talent at such an exhibition.

HOSPITALITY QATAR 2015 POSTSHOW REPORT

Mr. Simon A. NEHME Managing Partner Roots for Hospitality & Services L.L.C. The Global Hospitality & Horeca Show of Qatar (HQ) 2015 is a very brilliant concept that highlights Qatar as a major key player in the hospitality and franchise investment market in the GCC, which we can see it clearly is going along with Qatar vision 2030 supporting the requirements of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in terms of Food & Beverage and hospitality sector. The HQ event is providing us with a great service and professional treatment to raise-up the name of their event which I can say that it is “tremendous”. We are impressed by the quality of preparation, confidence of the event management team and of course the great crowds of this successful event. This occasion is very useful for all exhibitors to show their own products and having the chance to grow their own business or even prospecting new markets. Every

Mary Kosseiifi Nestlé

time we attend any HQ show, we observe advances from the preparation to crowds’ management, etc. I can say that this time HQ showed precedes the benchmark set by the previous show. Our main aim is to focus on brand awareness rather than product selling. The goal is to hit the point of expanding our business to open three more new branches in Doha at the Pearl, 01 Mall and Al Meera (Jeryan) by the end of December 2015. The event helped us to deliver that message. In my point of view, this event is a great opportunity for all the growing companies, as it vwill help to connect with key decision makers to draw a better path for various businesses. Finally, “Business opportunities are like buses, there’s always another one coming”. Eagerly waiting for the next “HQ Event”.

“Nestlé Professional is glad to be back to The Hospitality & HORECA show of Qatar. The IFP have managed to deliver an excellent event in terms of attendees and contribution. As gold sponsors of the Salon Culinaire we were very thrilled to have the participation of the QCP (Qatar Culinary Professional) Guild which definitely added value to the attendees of The Exhibition. We look forward to explore further opportunities on how we can expand our relationship.
