FAQ: How long can I keep a skip for? Normally 21 days but we are exible. However we won't collect the skip without informing you rst. How much notice do I need to give before delivery or exchange of a skip? We do provide same day service within a reasonable time of day. If not same day then guaranteed early the next day. Can the skip drivers position a skip over my wall? Normally yes we can. You will have to

notify us if needed. However beware we are not responsible for any damage caused as we are acting on your instructions. What size skip do you think I need? Almost impossible to answer, measurements are listed to give you an idea of the sizes. How much will it cost to hire a skip? This is dependant on size and waste type. If you are not sure our sales team will be very happy to give you advice. so please feel free to contact us to discuss your requirements in more detail. How do I book and pay for a skip? PORTLAND STONE LTD We operate six wheeler grab lorries to enable quick, easy & efcient way of disposing of your waste in tight areas or for example over walls. This consists of you the customer heaping the material up and we will grab it and dispose of accordingly to save you loading time and the usual hard work. The price consists of half loads & full loads. We can even deliver your stone/aggregates then grab your material away which would save time and would be more cost effective. The grab lorry is mainly used for soil/rubble material in which it carries approx 15 tonne. All material’s collected will be reused via our recycling Centre on Portland.
