Precision Positioning Kit (116504)

A stable planar carbon structure with embedded LEDs designed for precise fine-tuning of object position – for example of large castings on the milling machine bed. Optimized for high accuracy inside a small range of angles (approx. ±10° in yaw and pitch, ±30° in roll). Attaches to the object with switchable magnetic mounts or 5mm mounting holes. PVB1000 Performance Verification Kit (115201)

Based around a stable steel I-beam with precision nests for 5mm probe tips, the kit is used for verifying system accuracy anytime and anywhere. A Metronor PowerInspect inspection plan is included that guides the user through the recommended measurement process. An Excel macro (Excel software required) is also included for evaluating the measurement results taking temperature (thermometer required) and nominal data into account. Includes a re-calibration kit and instruction leaflet that enables any competent length calibration laboratory to carry out local calibrations. As an available option, the PVB1000 can be supplied with traceable measurements of the distances between pairs of nests, with measurement report and traceability information included. Metronor’s most flexible probing device. 900mm total length with 8 embedded LEDs. Operates in 3 modes: (1) High-accuracy mode out to 18m, (2) Deep probe mode where the three bottom LEDs are switched off for an additional 400mm effective probe length, or (3) Long-range mode where the fifth LED is switched off and maximum range increases to 25m. Standard in all Metronor measurement systems except MetroARM.

CLP5300 Lightpen, Mini (116110)

300mm long Lightpen for use at short range in confined areas – e.g. inside tubes, gear boxes and compressors. Uses standard Metronor probes and includes connector for (optional) remote exposure.

CLP5500 Lightpen, Small (116111)

Metronor PowerINSPECT (331000)

Metronor PowerINSPECT is a powerful tool for geometry measurement, and supports a wide range of functions including part alignments, feature constructions, comparisons between measured and nominal data including CAD data of geometrical features as well as free-form surfaces, GD&T functions, and numerical and graphical reporting of results. Measurement processes can be recorded into inspection plans to secure efficiency and consistency across production runs. Included with all Metronor systems except MetroARM.

Metronor PowerINSPECT Lite (331005)

Metronor PowerINSPECT Lite provides all the basic functions of Metronor PowerINSPECT (331000), but does not support more advanced functions like measurement of free-form surfaces against CAD-files, multiple measurement passes inside the same file, and also does not support plug-ins including the menu button on the Lightpen. The menu button allows the user to e.g. change probes and delete points without returning to the computer.

MetroARM Upgrade to Metronor PowerINSPECT Full Version (200002) Upgrade provides measurement of free-form surfaces against CAD-files, and also enables the menu button on the Lightpen. The menu button allows the user to e.g. change probes and delete points without returning to the computer.

Metronor PowerINSPECT Offline (331004)

Single license for Metronor PowerINSPECT as an off-line tool – for example creating inspection plans and analyzing and reporting data. Cannot be used for measurement.

Metronor’s core system software, and a key building block in all Metronor systems. Handles communication with Lightpens, cameras and other system units. Also generates the measurement coordinates as input for the inspection software. LED Software (330140)

Adjustable LEDs can be attached to objects to track them in space or guide them into a desired position and orientation. Or, the amount of movement of individual LEDs can be monitored to determine deformation of a structure under load or the repeatability of a mechanism or process. The LED software works with and requires Metronor PowerINSPECT (full version). This product cannot be ordered separately.

Stability Control Software (330141)

Stability control involves using individual Adjustable LEDs to compensate for any shift in object-to-camera position between measurements. If the shift is excessive, a warning message is provided; otherwise the shift is simply compensated for – supporting very high measurement accuracy in unstable or vibrating environments. his product cannot be ordered separately.

Metronor TeZetCAD (331400)

Metronor TeZetCAD provides efficient software tools for inspecting, documenting and reverse-engineering of tubes, hoses, and cables in application ranging from oil and chemical industry to vehicles and airplanes. The software is quick to learn and easy to use.

Software Bridge (Req. for Any Other 3rd Party SW) (330900)

The Metronor Software Bridge provides an interface between the Metronor Basic Software (used in all Metronor systems) and any supported 3rd party software application, such as CAM2, Calypso, Metrolog XG, Metrosoft, Prelude, Spatial Analyzer, Verisurf and many other popular software applications. An LED on a swivel-mount providing 360° movement in yaw and 0-90° in elevation. To be connected to a LED junction box (117991) using 8m or 4m LED cables (712300, 712303). Includes magnetic base plate as well as aluminum base plate for gluing, attaches to the base with an M4 thread.

Magnetic Base for Adjustable LED (717101) Replacement magnetic base for Adjustable LED. It has an outer diameter of 16mm and a magnetic force of 95N. Can also be used as a nest for probing reference points.
