High-Performance Foam Plank, Thick Laminates and Special Density Sheets.

Polyethylene Foams Innovations in Foam from the Global Leader Sealed Air Corporation is a major international manufacturer of innovative protective packaging materials and systems including: CelluPlank®, Stratocell®, Stratocell® Plus and Cellu-Cushion® high-performance, extruded, closed-cell polyethylene foam products. They are manufactured to meet the highest quality and environmental standards and are ideal for a wide range of packaging and non-packaging applications. • Resilient, lightweight and cost-efficient, with superior physical properties necessary for cushioning, insulating and barrier applications. • Industry’s largest selection of densities and designer colors. • Available for quick, world-wide delivery, in a wide range of sheet, extruded and laminated plank configurations. • Easily converted using traditional fabrication equipment. • Special formulations are available that provide static and UV protection. • CFC and HCFC-free. • Reusable and recyclable through the Sealed Air® Foam Return program.

Selecting the Right Sealed Air® Foam Product for Your Application Sealed Air maintains an extensive network of authorized fabricators worldwide to design and fabricate Sealed Air® polyethylene foams into a wide range of shapes, forms and die-cuts. These fabricators bring you experience in product and application knowledge for the most cost-effective packaging and non-packaging design solutions.

Innovative Foam Packaging Solutions Through Creative Design and Fabrication Sealed Air® polyethylene foams are designed to meet a broad range of protective packaging requirements – from economical, lightweight protection, to heavy-duty industrial cushioning. They are clean, non-abrasive and offer package designers and fabricators a variety of creative opportunities. In addition to our extensive network of authorized fabricators, Sealed Air has multiple packaging labs around the world. They review and analyze proposed designs, develop new ones, test existing packs and recommend the best way to maximize the protective qualities of Sealed Air® polyethylene foams. Sealed Air provides package and material testing in accordance with ISTA, ASTM, government or corporate standards, all at no charge. Comprehensive shock and vibration cushioning performance data is available on all Sealed Air® polyethylene foams. • High-performance cushioning – provides the same or better protection using less foam than many alternative packaging materials. • Reduced packaging costs – less foam results in smaller packs, reducing material and shipping costs, as well as handling and storage expenses. • Excellent material yield – wide widths minimize scrap generated during fabrication, further reducing material costs and less waste for disposal. • Very resilient – quick recovery from multiple compressions and impacts make it ideal for use in returnable material handling systems. • Enhanced package aesthetics – clean, attractive appearance enhances product and package image. Note: CelluPlank® polyethylene foams meet Commercial Item Description (C.I.D.) A-A-59136,“Cushioning Material, Packaging, Closed-Cell Foam Plank”.
