APPLICATION EXAMPLES

In this simple double acting pneumatic cylinder design, PSP K25 double acting pneumatic piston seal is used as pneumatic piston seal and PSR K30 pneumatic combi seal is used as pneumatic rod seal.

For this application, PSP K50 TPU as piston seal, PSR K51 TPU rod seal for rod sealing, and PSR K53 TPU cushioning seal for cushioning seal are used. During operation, pressurized air acting on line A makes piston and rod move to the left. At this moment the air in the other side of the piston is exhausted on line B. By the contact of D cushioning rod with cushioning seal, the exhausting procedure from line B becomes stopped. At this moment, exhausting procedure is only performed over C flow control valve in a controlled way. By this way, the movement of cylinder gets slowed down.

3

PSP K25 PNEUMATIC PISTON SEAL They are the seals used in pneumatic systems with an easy assembly. Produced by bonding NBR on the metal, the PSP K25 types are designed in such a way that they can be used without piston. They are fitted on the rod with bolt and shoulder. FKM (Viton) PSP K25 seals are offered and produced as special orders.

PSP K50 PNEUMATIC PISTON SEAL Produced by injection moulding technique from special polyurethane material, or NBR 80 Shore A, the PSP K50 pneumatic piston nutrings are designed specially for pneumatic cylinders with its dynamic sealing lips (external sealing lips) having shorter height. It provides a safe static sealing when its internal sealing lips are installed in housing. Being able to be used in all pneumatic cylinders suitable to all technical properties given below, the PSP K50 type series can be provided from our stocks.

PSP K55 PNEUMATIC PISTON SEAL Being used safely up to 12 bars in single acting and short stroke pneumatic cylinders, PSP K55 pneumatic piston seals are made up of aluminium plate and NBR material. They can be used in single acting and short stroke pneumatic cylinders, where there is not too much radial load. Due to its design with air relief notches they also function as cushioning at the end of strokes.
