Program - CING USA-Canada annual meeting 2016 May 26-29, Dallas / Plano, TX Hotel: Embassy Suites Frisco, Hotel by Hilton, Convention Center & Spa 7600 John Q. We decided to switch to this larger and resource-rich hotel that provides excellent services for our traveling group. It is a multistory complex with a large atrium in center, swimming pools, fitness center, and plenty of cozy areas to meet new or old friends. A classy breakfast is included in the price, and there are bars, restaurants, plus food service 24 hrs. For those who traveled to CING 2015 Greensboro, you will recognize the same basic hotel style- but larger! - Of course, this is Texas! The hotel is located a nominally 9-minute drive to Ericsson. It is also relatively close to the DFW airport, just 25 miles or around 20 – 30 minutes from the DFW car rental facility. You can also use airport taxi ($ 60 and up single) or Super Shuttle ($ 30 typ., reserve 1-800-258-3826). For transport between meeting events, we have in all our prior meetings easily balanced ride share and car providers in the group. We have reserved a block of rooms with rate $ 139/night, breakfast included. This rate expires May 5th. If you register later, it likely will cost more – IF rooms available. Here are your reservation options: A) Call 972-712-7200, ask for reservations, and for the CING Class Reunion room block B) To reserve electronically use this link and type in reservation code CCR http://embassysuites.hilton.com/en/es/groups/personalized/D/DALFSES-CCR-20160526/index.jhtml?WT.mc_id=POG

What a unique setting for a Gasque! We have rented their restored old Pole Barn, once upon a time in use for farm storage and animals. Enjoy food, drink and song in genuine Chalmers Göteborg style, spiced up by old time Texas country! What a recipe for memorable evening! And we can arrange nice activity for kids. You get herring and other Nordic appetizers, all drinking thereto, buffet style main course, plus genuine Prinsesstårta with coffee and Punsch. Enjoy rising a Skål or tell a story. And have fun in our table contests. Do some Spexing. Or take up an old Chalmerist song from our Texas edition Sånghäfte. All traditional Gasque beverages are included. This includes our special CING brew, Vin Avancez, for making your 12-tone glissando singing extra beautiful. The Saturday Gasque is always a sure hit in our meetings with large attendance! We will suggest suitable transportation, give you more details of the program and payment information in the April update. - If anyone during the Gasque imitates a farm animal (or doing that unknowingly) - no problem, those old barn walls have heard it and seen it before.
