National Federation Technical centre Coverciano National Soccer Centre & Museum & Pro Trainings with licensed coaches: The Coverciano Technical Centre was founded in the 1950s It stands at the feet of the Fiesole and Settignano hills, a place full of both historical and literary importance: it was here that Aldo Palazzeschi set the story of the "Materassi Sisters".
The National A team, the Under 21 team, the Under 15,16,17 and 18 teams, both from the Professionals League and the C League, the National Military team, the National Five-aside Football team, and the National Women's team have stayed at Coverciano many times. It was for this reason that it was rebaptized as "Casa Italia". Even international bodies such as FIFA and UEFA have chosen the Coverciano Centre on several occasions as the site for meetings and congresses. Likewise, lots of national and foreign representatives have stayed at Coverciano for long or short periods, either for meetings with our national teams, or for training periods. The centre has 5 grass pitches, four are standard size and one is smaller. The pitches can be used all year round and each has its own changing rooms. A good supply of football accessories makes all sorts of training possible. In addition you can also visit the museum, with the Italian trophy, shirts, history and its champions starting from the 30's. it will be a great experience, and you'll have the possibility to taste your favorite sport in one of the oldest soccer national of the world.
