FAQ CAN I USE ANY REPAIRER? A Peugeot warranty lets you choose the garage to have your car repaired – we recommend that you use an Peugeot Authorised Repairer as they will have the correct diagnostics equipment and their technicians will be fully trained by us. You can also use your local independent repairer; we just ask that the repairer is VAT-registered. Your repairer will be able to manage any claim for you and we’ll liaise directly with them to authorise and pay for valid repairs.

CAN I BUY A PEUGEOT WARRANTY IF I DON’T DRIVE A PEUGEOT? Peugeot warranties are designed specifically for Peugeot vehicles. However, where an existing Peugeot warranty is in place, some non-Peugeots are eligible: please call 0344 573 8050 for more details.

HOW CAN I PAY FOR MY WARRANTY? You can pay by using a credit or a debit card. A Monthly Renewing option is also available – payable by 10 monthly Direct Debit payments at no extra cost.

HOW SOON CAN I MAKE A VALID CLAIM? You can make a valid claim as soon as your policy is registered with us – there’s no waiting period before a claim can be made. However if the failure already existed when your policy was registered, your claim will not be covered unless you had a valid policy at the time.

WILL I HAVE TO PAY FOR A COVERED REPAIR? Peugeot Platinum Renewal Warranty will pay for all covered repairs up to the claims limit outlined in the Policy Document. Unfortunately, we can’t cover existing faults with your vehicle. You should have these faults rectified by a Peugeot Authorised Repairer before purchasing a Peugeot warranty.

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY CAR BREAKS DOWN ABROAD? If you break down abroad, you should have the car fixed locally and then contact us on your return to the UK to arrange for any reimbursement towards a valid claim. Please ensure you obtain a full receipt for any work carried out. Unfortunately, we can’t liaise or authorise repairs directly with repairers overseas.

HOW DOES THE REPLACEMENT VEHICLE WORK?

WHAT IF I SELL MY CAR?

Your Peugeot Platinum Renewal Warranty covers the cost of a replacement vehicle whilst your vehicle is being repaired under your warranty. We will refund the cost of the hire of a comparable vehicle for a maximum period of three days after the first 24 hours. Please note this is available in the UK only and the cost of insurance, fuel and ancillary expenses are not included. Please see your Policy Document for full details.

If you decide to sell your car privately, you can transfer the warranty to the new owner, providing your policy is fully paid. Simply complete the Transfer of Ownership form in the back of your Policy Document and return it to us.
