Our Flex-Neck Classic and ARC shapes are designed to accommodate various tunneling techniques and exit site options. The Flex-Neck Classic Catheter is straight between the cuffs for more exit-site flexibility. The Flex-Neck ARC Catheter is preshaped, encouraging a downwardfacing exit site, reducing shower water pooling at the exit site. Catheters are available in various shapes, and tip-to-cuff lengths to accommodate most patient types including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, and small, medium, and large adults, as well as obese patients.

Our complete Flex-Neck ExxTended™ catheter kit includes all of the necessary tools for upper abdomen and upper chest (pre-sternal) procedures. The kit includes a measuring rod designed to gauge the rectus-to-skin distance and a tunneling tool designed to accommodate the upper catheter.

Merit’s PD accessories and kits are specifically designed to support catheter implantation, connection, and repair. The VP-511 Implantation Kit is designed to support an over-the-wire technique. The Repair Kit is designed to lengthen or repair the catheter if required. The metal Faller Trocar creates a clean, tight exit site, utilizing an antegrade tunneling approach. Three lengths of reusable, stainless steel implantation stylettes are specifically sized to fit the larger interior diameter of our PD catheters.
