COMMERCIAL DENSITY FIREPROOFING CAFCO ® commercial density fireproofing materials provide the most cost effective thermal protection for concealed steel and concrete structures. CAFCO BLAZE-SHIELD® II- provides the most impressive
combination of fire resistance, thermal and acoustical properties of any one product in the commercial class. This inorganic dry-mix portland cement based SFRM is classified as “Investigated for exterior use” by Underwriters Laboratories, providing assurance that it can remain exposed due to weathering conditions during the construction process. Features: UL“Investigated for exterior use”- withstands exterior weathering elements during all phases of construction Inorganic environmentally friendly formula Highest recycled content for commercial SFRMs (67% pre-consumer) Easy application and fast clean-up Classified by UL for fire resistance for up to 4 hour ratings in accordance with ANSI/UL 263 (ASTM E119)
CAFCO 300 Series- are the most widely used spray-applied fire
resistive materials. These durable, wet-mix gypsum based SFRMs are designed to provide fire protection to interior concealed floor and roof assemblies, steel beams, joists and columns. Features: Cost effective with excellent coverage and easy application Lightweight gypsum based material offers additional value as a thermal insulator Classified by UL for fire resistance for up to 4 hour ratings in accordance with ANSI/UL 263 (ASTM E119)
CAFCO 300- is utilized by design professionals and applicators due to its versatility in protecting a wide range of concealed structural steel designs as well as its ease of application. CAFCO 300 AC- offers the most cost effective fire resistance performance per unit thickness and greatest productivity within the CAFCO 300 series of products. CAFCO 300 ES- improves jobsite productivity by allowing the SFRM material to remain in the hose for an extended time, such as overnight or over the weekend without the need to purge with water thereby reducing construction waste.
CAFCO 300 HS- is specifically developed to provide high bond
strength, which satisfies the IBC requirement for SFRM minimum bond strength for buildings up to 420 ft. in height.
CAFCO 300 SB- is ideal for patching and retrofit projects due to its recognizable green tint.

MEDIUM & HIGH DENSITY FIREPROOFING CAFCO ® medium and high density fireproofing materials offer increased physical performance characteristics for properties such as bond strength, density and compressive strength. They protect a full range of exposed steel structures and assemblies in mid to high traffic areas. CAFCO BLAZE-SHIELD® HP- remains the #1 choice when high humidity and potentially damaging conditions exist. This inorganic medium density portland cement based SFRM is intended for structures with indirect weather exposure and areas where resistance to abrasion and maintenance traffic is required. Its dry mix spray installation method allows for easy application and quick clean up.
CAFCO 400 - is the leading medium density SFRM on the market
today. Its portland cement based formulation allows it to perform in both unconditioned and conditioned interior environments where resistance to physical abuse, abrasion forces and impact is required.
CAFCO 400 AC- is a gypsum based medium density SFRM
formulated to meet current IBC bond strength requirements, particularly those required for building heights in excess of 420 ft. Its physical properties, combined with superior fire resistive performance and application efficiencies, make it the ideal choice for high rise structures and interior conditioned environments.
Features: Inorganic, portland cement based formulation Highest recycled content in its class (56% pre-consumer) UL “Investigated for exterior use” Meets current IBC high rise bond strength requirement of ≥430 psf Classified by UL for fire resistance for up to 4 hour ratings in accordance with ANSI/UL 263 (ASTM E119)
CAFCO 400 Series- is the leading wet mix SFRM product family
for exposed areas such as mechanical and electrical rooms, parking garages, elevator shafts, etc. These materials are hard and durable and exceed all medium density industry physical performance standards. Features: Durable and abrasion resistant Offers the best fire resistance performance per unit thickness of any spray-applied fire resistive materials in the medium density category Meets the current IBC high rise bond strength requirement of ≥430 psf and 1000 psf Classified by UL for fire resistance for up to 4 hour ratings in accordance with ANSI/UL 263 (ASTM E119)
The Pentagon CAFCO 400 ES- improves applicator productivity by allowing the SFRM to remain in the hose for an extended period of time, such as overnight or over the weekend. The need to purge the hose with water at the end of each day is no longer required, thus eliminating disposal of unused material.
CAFCO FENDOLITE M-II- for commercial use is ideal for interior
and exterior environments where hardness and abrasion resistance are top priority. This portland cement based wet mix SFRM exhibits the highest levels of physical performance for the utmost protection.
