Tim Evans Tim on wrestling: The intensity and hard work you have to put into the sport. Your body will be in pain for awhile but its all worth while. It also teaches you discipline. Favorite memory: Going to watch state for the first time. Seeing Zach and Lucas participate there. Favorite Bible passage: Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through him who gives me strength. Team’s memories about Tim: - At the Sheboygan Tourney, Tim had to wrestler a really good kid and he went in thinking he was going to die, and ended up getting a reversal. - Watching the effort he put in and seeing him work hard. - He was always positive - Practicing with him. - How funny his stories were Our favorite Tim quotes: “I’m 100% done.” “That’s goofy.” What we appreciate about Tim: - He made wrestling tournaments more fun. - his attitude - That he came out to help our team this year with no wrestling experience. - He's very chill. - He never leaves his stuff out. - It is his first year wrestling and he really tries to learn new things and get better at them.

Josh Swanson Josh on wrestling: The hard work that you put in teaches life lessons about hard work. Favorite memories: Trapping a kid from St. Joe’s in a hallway sophomore year Favorite Bible passage: Joshua 1:9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. Team’s memories about Josh: - Roasting him and him bringing so much food for every tournament. - his reaction when he broke my thumb - Wrestling with him in practice, goofing around at tournaments, going to sectionals with him. - playing water polo - Josh's persistence on stealing DK's trench coat. - Whenever he randomly came out of no where with a funny comment and how he always stole DK's coat. What we appreciate about Josh: - Always makes sure you are OK - His hard work and want to always to come back especially when he was hurt. He did what he could so that he could come back and wrestle. - Brought a sense of humor to our practice room while still worked hard and had a competitive edge. - He gave me some advice a few times on how to do some of the workouts. - He was always willing to wrestle under any circumstances. - his good attitude about everything

Zach Brug Zach on wrestling: The hard work, effort, the humor of my teammates, and the feeling of victory. Favorite memory: Going to sectionals & state, swim practices, bus rides, games during practice, and working hard to get better. Favorite Bible passage: Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through him who gives me strength. Team’s memories about Zach: - When I TRIED to mess with him, and he threw me - The talks we had during the season and wrestling and messing around with each other at practice. - Playing rugby - Whenever Coach Schevi seems to always beat him in their "State Championship matches." - Anytime he pinned a guy in under a minute. - bus rides back from duel meats Our favorite Zach quotes: "If it doesn't suck you’re not doing it right." "Abby, can you tape my wrists?" What we appreciate about Zach: - His determination for winning. - Him always being happy - The skills he taught me and the fun we had and his commitment and hard work for the wrestling team - He was very supportive when I lost matches. - His leadership - He is respectable and is committed to the team. He is always encouraging the newer guys and helping them out and he works harder than anyone. - He is a nice and cool guy

Mike Nelson Mike on wrestling: I appreciate that it taught me that discipline and to never give up. Favorite memory: Bus rides back from tournaments. The conversations are priceless. Favorite Bible passage: Exodus 23:1 Do not spread false reports. Do not help a guilty person by being a malicious witness. Team’s memories about Mike: - Lateral drop...enough said. - Me and him wrestling and I’d pin him when he let me - Lateral drops, working with him in practice - when he beat someone this year while down 7 with a lat drop - going to sectionals with him - When he basically won the water polo game for my team. - His talks on the bus Our favorite Mike quotes: “What’s up, cuz?” “Yeah, I can give you a ride.” What we appreciate about Mike: - He brought a lot of intimidation to our team. - His attitude - everything - Having someone who always challenged me at practice - Hard work in the weight room. - He looks like a scary dude just because of his size but he's very kind and helpful. - He got the guys doing what they needed to do. - He cares about working hard and doing something good for the team. He gives full effort and is definitely respected by the rest of the team.

Abby Schevikhoven Abby on wrestling: You have to not only be physically tough but mentally. Your outcome is all on dependent on you. It teaches discipline. Favorite memory: Bus rides. Madness. The weighing in time and all the managers sit and goof off. Admiring Sheboygan’s pool and work out room. Favorite Bible passage: Matthew 6:34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. Team’s memories about Abby: When the guys are weighing in and it’s just the managers in the gym, we listen to music or make jokes and just have a ton of fun together. How adorable and helpful she is All the early morning bus rides with coffee and talking about how we should run the country because we have simple answers to fix our economy. Bus rides, hanging out with her after tournaments, I love that we work so well together as a team. She helped me find out where the team was when I came out of the locker room on the swim practice day. Our favorite Abby quotes: "Zach! Put the tape back in the box!" "Guys, we are not your mothers" Both of these are said at least once every practice. What we appreciate about Abby - her and the other managers keeping everything in order - Everything. Helped me get over tough losses. - She was very helpful whenever I had questions about something. - Coming in for the first year managing she does everything and caught on really quick to everything we had to do. She cares about doing as much to make life easier for the guys and for Pastor.

McKensi Mardon Kensi on wrestling: How intense it can get, it’s exciting. Wrestling is really about trying to see who is stronger and has more endurance. I love how different it is from other sports. It's not focused around scoring with a ball but with physical strength of what you as a person can do. Favorite memory: Going to sectionals last year. Bus rides back from meets/tournaments - everyone just always making jokes and having fun. Whenever we had a "TPS" fan section at home meets. Favorite Bible passage: Proverbs 31:30 “Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised." Team’s memories about Kensi: - Sitting on the side making fun of the wrestlers during madness, and maybe adding a few seconds to the clock during bear crawls. - Bus rides. - Fun times on bus rides, trying to get her to talk to wrestlers on other teams Our favorite Kensi quotes: "I'm not cleaning this up!" What we appreciate about Kensi: She was always willing and ready to help and also took care of our weights and stuff. Her good attitude. How helpful she was and all the work she did to make our season flow better. Most experienced manager, really took charge and helped us out a lot. She is nice but she also makes sure we do our plate workouts or "12 days" She always was there whenever she could and was like a mother to these children.

Dustin Krueger Dustin on his experience with the wrestling program: The discipline that it instills through the training. Favorite Bible passage: Joshua 1:9 Have I not commanded you? He’s the only one I know that can pull it off. - Talking with him at matches and practice Our favorite Dustin quotes: "Well, technically...” What we appreciate about Dustin: - Always there to help - He is at as many meets/tournaments as he can be and he is always looking for something to do to help out. - Even though he is a Senior he doesn't act above younger students. Very down to earth. - Was always doing something during practice that helped. - Him and his trench coat
