and reliable process gas analysis, as part of the process loop, for on-line control of industrial processes. The rugged design of the SGC 3000 enables its use in a wide variety of applications such as petroleum refining and processing of petrochemicals, chemicals, and natural gas. The SGC 3000 measures over 30 process gases including H2 to C6. It then converts concentration measurements into analog (4 to 20 mA dc) or digital signals in the field, and transmits the signals to a receiver. Model SGC302 can be handled like a transmitter. Parameters can be remotely set, adjusted, and selfdiagnosed through the Smart Field Communicator (SFC) Model STS103.

The conventional glass Meredian® pH/ORP electrodes offer a reliable combination of measurement and reference electrodes together with integral automatic temperature compensation. A selection of low- or high temperature glass is offered to ensure low sodium error, optimum durability at operating temperatures, long-term accuracy, and reliable performance. Meredian electrodes include a permanent reference junction and gel fill for maintenance-free operation. use, portable dew point measuring system. The DewGuard incorporates Honeywell’s 4112 Dew Point and Temperature Transmitter and a sampling system into one compact, portable package. This system has been specifically designed to meet the needs of the heattreat industry for either spot or continuous dew point measurement of generator gases or furnace atmospheres.

7079 CONDUCTIVITY TRANSMITTER is designed to meet the need for a two-wire transmitter that produces a current output signal proportional to the selected range (conductivity or resistivity), with the option of intrinsically safe or explosionproof operation. Typical operations include hazardous environments in all processing industries.

7020 SERIES DISSOLVED OXYGEN ANALYZER AND PROBES The 7020 Series Dissolved Oxygen Analyzer system is unique in both operation and configuration. The system combines a patented equilibrium probe--unaffected by inert fouling or changes in flow conditions— with a full-function analyzer/controller in a weatherproof case. Typical applications include power generation, industrial and municipal wastewater, semiconductor, aquaculture, and food and beverage applications.

SODIUM ION MEASURING SYSTEM provides continuous, automatic measurement of sodium ion concentration in aqueous solutions. This highly sensitive system is composed of a microprocessor-based analyzer combined with a highly sensitive sodium electrode and a calibration facility. Typical applications include pure water applications, such as detecting deionizer breakthrough, boiler water carryover, and condenser leaks.

4112 DEW POINT AND TEMPERATURE TRANSMITTER represents a technological breakthrough in moisture measurement. The 4112 measures moisture and temperature in processes at temperatures up to 365°F (185°C), opening the door to better product quality, improved thermal efficiency, and longer process equipment life. Typical applications include industrial drying applications, including paper drying and foods and pharmaceuticals processing; trace moisture measurement in utilities, instrument-air, and heat-treat applications.

4114 DEW POINT AND TEMPERATURE TRANSMITTER offers high-performance water vapor measurement capabilities over very wide ranges of both moisture and temperature. It measures in-situ with an advanced solid-state, dual element sensor assembly that is able to withstand very harsh conditions. Typical applications include industrial drying applications where FM approval for explosion-proof areas or intrinsic safety is not a requirement.

4111 HUMIDITY TRANSMITTER The 4111 temperature-compensated Humidity Transmitter addresses the requirements for industrial humidity measurement. The transmitter is designed to provide premium performance using sensors proven to perform in hostile environments. Typical applications include hazardous, hostile industrial, chemical and pharmaceutical environments; environmental monitoring and food processing.

7866 THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY ANALYZER is designed to provide highly sensitive and accurate analysis of binary (two-component) gas mixtures. The analyzer can also be calibrated to measure a single component of a multicomponent gas mixture, providing the background gases constitute a stable mixture (such as air), or have approximately the same thermal conductivity. The most common application is at utilities or power plants in hydrogencooled generators. The triple-range analyzer measures the concentration of purge gas during start-up and shutdown of the generator, as well as the highpurity concentration of hydrogen during normal operations.

7082 SPECIFIC ION MONITOR/CONTROLLER is a microprocessor-based instrument for analysis of ion concentrations in industrial processes, and is functionally very similar to a pH Analyzer. It is used with Honeywell preamplifier electrode mounting and a variety of electrodes for the measurement of mono-valent and di-valent cations and anions. Ion concentration (or mV equivalent) and temperature are measured simultaneously with 1/2 second update of display, alarm/control outputs and analog outputs. Typical applications include sodium ion monitoring in high purity water treatment, low sodium food and beverage preparation, chemical processing and boiler water and steam monitoring.

70-82-02-01

REMOTE RANGE INDICATOR FOR 7866 TRIPLE RANGE ANALYZER enables operating personnel in a power plant to monitor hydrogen purity during “purge” and “operate” cycles from a second location, such as a control room or the plant floor. Although the 7866 Analyzer’s Control Unit has an integral indicating meter to display readings, it is usually located near the generator at the purge station. The Remote Range Indicator provides an additional display of the reading of the range being used. These ranges are 0-100% CO2 in Air, 0-100% CO2 in H2, and 100-75% H2 in Air, with the range indicated by one of three signal lights (green, amber and red). A calibrated 4-20 mA meter displays the output level of the 7866 Control Unit.

7872 SAMPLING SYSTEM includes all the equipment and accessories necessary to condition the sample by altering its pressure, temperature, and composition as required by the analyzer; to transport the sample from the process to the analyzer; and to dispose of the analyzed sample by venting to atmosphere. This sampling system is used in conjunction with the 7866 thermal conductivity analyzer for hydrogen cooled generators. 7931 EQUILIBRIUM DISSOLVED OXYGEN SENSOR measures independently of inert fouling or changes in flow rate. Since there is no net chemical reaction within the probe, there are no changes in probe composition, and the probe may be made permanent. All of these features lead to low maintenance and high reliability compared with older, diffusiondependent probes. Major applications are biochemical treatment of wastewater and corrosion control through boiler water treatment.

7773 MULTIPURPOSE pH & ORP ELECTRODE MOUNTINGS

HPW7000, Hi-pHurity WATER pH MEASUREMENT SYSTEM

Overall 7773 Mounting capabilities encompass the industrial measurements of pH, ORP (redox potential), specific ion and temperature in a flow or submersion configuration. Wetted material choices include 316 stainless steel, glass-fiber reinforced polypropylene or Ryton (Phillips Petroleum tradename for polyphenylene sulfide), for use in corrosive solutions at pressures up to 150 psig (1034 kPa) and temperatures up to 266°F (130°C). The 7773 is available in seven configurations; change between flow and immersion-type mounting requires substitution of only one part.

Accuracy and stability are combined with simplicity in this electrode mounting assembly for measuring pH in high purity water applications. The design includes a specially designed flow chamber that provides optimal flow patterns and volume. The electrode cover and holder is keyed so that proper alignment is maintained during installation. An easy to remove clamp secures the cover and makes electrode removal for calibration or maintenance fast and easy. Electrode and cable shielding ensures a stable pH reading. The reference electrode is easy to refill and maintain. A calibration cup holder allows the user to calibrate right at the assembly and saves calibration time.

7758 PIPELINE ELECTRODE MOUNTINGS FOR INDUSTRIAL pH AND ORP MEASUREMENTS The 7758 Pipeline Electrode Mounting uses a stainless steel or polypropylene bushing with 3/4” NPT for mounting in pipelines. It can also be mounted in larger pipe through the use of adapter bushings or by tapping directly into the pipe. It can be “side-mounted” in tanks. The mounting assembly is ideal for use in piped heavy slurries; it provides selfcleaning where oil and sludge tend to coat electrodes. It resists most chemical attack and may be used at high temperature and pressure. Typical applications include high purity water and sterilization processes.

7774 pH/ORP ELECTRODE INSERTION/REMOVAL ASSEMBLIES The 7774 Insertion/Removal Assemblies, which accommodate DURAFET and MEREDIAN series combination (single-probe) pH or ORP (redox) electrodes, are designed for use in processes under pressure, since the electrode can be inserted or removed without interrupting the process. Insertion can be into a pipeline, tank wall or other vessel—in any position— for applications such as boiler water analysis, demineralization, reverse osmosis, pharmaceutical and chemical production, waste treatment, and pulp and paper production.
