The Stokes’ shift problem Quantum Dots
Tandem Dyes
Measurements can be performed with one- or two-photon excitation.
Quantum dots and tandem dyes both have very large Stokes’ shifts allowing the simultaneous excitation with fluorescein at 488 nm but separate detection.
