About Laumeier Laumeier Sculpture Park is a living laboratory where artists and audiences explore the relationship between contemporary art and the natural environment. Founded in 1976, Laumeier is one of the first and largest dedicated sculpture parks in the country, making it an institution of international significance as well as a unique complement to the cultural landscape of the St. Louis region. Laumeier is a nonprofit, accredited art museum that operates in partnership with St. Louis County Parks. Laumeier presents 60 artworks in a 105-acre park available free to the public year-round, and serves 300,000 patrons annually through sculpture conservation, education programs, temporary exhibitions and public events.

Hours + Admission Laumeier is open daily from 8:00 a.m.–30 minutes past sunset. The Adam Aronson Fine Arts Center is open Thursday–Sunday from 10:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. during exhibitions only. The Park is free and open to the public year-round, with the exception of special events. Laumeier is conveniently located near I-270 and I-44, 16 miles and 20 minutes from the Gateway Arch. From I-44 Eastbound or Westbound, exit at Lindbergh Boulevard (Exit 277B), drive 0.5 miles south to Rott Road (turn right) and proceed 0.5 miles west to the Park’s Main Entrance (on the left). Adopting a sculpture is also a great way for classrooms and scout groups to support art and nature in the local community. Visit www.laumeier.org/sculpture-adoption for more information, including a detailed listing of sculptures available for adoption, levels and benefits, and to adopt online.

40TH ANNIVERSARY This year marks Laumeier Sculpture Park’s 40th Anniversary! Matilda Laumeier wanted to do something very special for the area community when she donated the original acreage for the Park in honor of her late husband, Henry. Since the nonprofit’s incorporation in 1976, Laumeier has presented more than 650 artists in temporary exhibitions and nearly 8,000 education programs for children, teens, adults and families. We continue to build upon Matilda Laumeier’s civic-minded donation, but we need your support. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Laumeier relies on individuals, companies and foundations to support sculpture conservation, education programs, temporary exhibitions and public events. Your contribution in honor of our 40th Anniversary will help preserve Laumeier for future generations of area residents, art lovers and regional, national and international visitors. Visit www.laumeier.org/40th-anniversary for more information and to donate online.
