Build successfully with PFEIFER Systems For four decades, PFEIFER building technology has been a valued partner to the precast concrete industry and has passed on to its customers its experience in the field of lifting anchor systems for lifting and transporting precast concrete parts. The PFEIFER name represents threaded anchors in particular, though the product ­range also encompasses a comprehensive selection of WK/DR anchor systems and BS anchor systems. PFEIFER has delivered fully-developed systems for providing ­connection of and anchoring to precast concrete parts to the ­concrete production industry for around twenty years. A focus of this is the detailed technical development of standardized ­anchorings long before a structure has even been drafted. Static, engineering-based pre-planning by us in line with building regulations and building physics, previously carried out approval and model statics and a high degree of delivery availability allow support structure planners and production plants to produce ­precast concrete parts more quickly and with a constant high level of quality. Industrial mass-production and efficient logistics at our headquarters in Memmingen form the basis for a reliable supply to our customers. During construction of the Allianz Arena in Munich, the 2,080 grandstand elements for approximately 66,000 spectators were transported and assembled using Pfeifer lifting anchors.

Certified quality management

For our core products at the production site, Germany, we have structural type approval and building authority approval and also officially monitored suitability tests for the lifting anchor systems. This ensures production in accordance with valid standards using suitable materials which conform to standards, and educated personnel with the required certificates, such as welding engineers and welders qualified to EN 287. Made in Germany therefore ­ represents high product quality.

Our organization is certified in accordance with the high requirements of the new DIN EN ISO 9001 regulations.

Lifting Anchor Systems The thread system, which has been proven millionfold, for ­universal use in all precast forms, particularly in panel-like elements. QQ 12 load capacity levels from 0.5 to 20 tonnes. QQ Unique swivel eye up to 90°, and cost-effective lifting loops as lifting devices. QQ Cost-effective stainless steel variant for corrosive regions. QQ Optimized wave anchor form with no splitting action in the anchoring region. QQ Robust PFEIFER round thread for reliable application. QQ Colour-coding for handling without confusion. QQ Optimized accessories such as magnet plates for providing fastening to the formwork or appropriate closure plugs.

Super Anchor System

Lifting Anchor Systems The optimized and reliable Super Anchor System for thin-­ panelled, heavy component elements. QQ Reduced socket diameter for simplified installation and for maintaining the required concrete cover. QQ Specially developed Z-thread prevents mix-up with the traditional thread system and ensures reliable attachment. QQ Low weight of the Super Lifter through the use of special high-strength materials. QQ Only three anchor sizes for the load range from 0 to 220 kN.

BS Anchor System

Lifting Anchor Systems The BS system represents a cost-effective alternative for transporting precast concrete parts which may have a projecting rope loop. QQ 14 load capacity levels from 0.8 to 25 tonnes. QQ Standard heavy-duty anchor from 28 to 85 tonnes; custom-made up to 180 tonnes. QQ Direct attachment using the hanging hooks without ­expensive lifting devices. QQ The flexible rope loop is adaptable in shape. QQ Recessed installation is possible using BS hooks. QQ Very simple transport of pipes using the PFEIFER Lifting Box.

WK Anchor System

Lifting Anchor Systems The WK system is particularly suitable for lifting operations where fast attachment is required. QQ The WK anchor, which is required in only one length at load capacities of 2 to 20 tonnes, is suitable for rod-shaped ­elements with pronounced longitudinal and transverse ­reinforcement. QQ For ceilings and pipes, the DR anchor is provided in load levels from 1.3 to 32 tonnes. QQ Simple anchor installation. QQ Fast and reliable attachment using the Pfeifer Quicklift.

PH Reinforcement Continuity System Reinforcement Systems Concrete sections supplied at different times are not a problem with the PH reinforcement continuity system. QQ Building authority approval from the German Structural Engineering Institute for predominantly static as well as non-static loading. QQ Transmission of 100 % bar stress in compression and tension. QQ Very simple anchoring using the nailing plate, without ­spoiling the formwork. QQ Commercially available metric standard thread for straightforward anchoring. QQ Colour-coding for reliable diameter association. QQ Can be screwed using little force.

VS® Wire Rope Loop System

Reinforcement Systems The VS® system permits simple structural joint connection of precast panel elements. QQ Building authority approved VS® rail systems TZ100 and BZ250 and VS® Slim-/Plus-box systems QQ Flexible rope makes it possible for precast elements to move past one another without a rigid bar being bent – the flexible rope loop always springs back into the correct position. QQ Design resistances for all load cases – transversal and ­tensile forces QQ A suitable system solution exists for all applications. QQ Use of high-strength ropes for reliable force transmission. QQ Special cost-effective VS®-PAGEL®-GROUT and VS®-P PAGEL®-JOINT MORTAR for optimum structural ­joining grout.

Steel Bearing, Staircase Bearings Connection Systems Cost effective and fast supports in order to reduce assembly and construction times, PFEIFER bearing systems are ­available for π beams, trough slaps, supporting beams and staircases. QQ VarioSonic Staircase supports have valid structural type approval. QQ Building authority approval for the steel bearing QQ Assembly supports can be dispensed with. QQ The use of steel bearing for π slabs, trough slaps, supporting beams permits right-angled main support beams without bracket console strips and ­considerably reduces the load eccentricity in relation to ­previous solutions. QQ Design tables and software make very simple and fast specification of the steel support possible. QQ VarioSonic staircase bearing considerably, demonstrably and certifiably improves impact sound insulation. QQ VarioSonic can be adjusted in height under load without the assistance of a crane. QQ Steel bearing and Vario Sonic reduce the time expenditure and costs during assembly by up to 30 %.

Column Shoe System, Wall Shoe System Connection Systems For fast, structural connection of columns and panels to foundations or to one another, the column and wall shoe system has been developed. QQ All system components have structural type approval and building authority approval. QQ Fast assembly of the precast elements by means of simple, structural bolt connections, and resulting reduction in ­con-struction time. QQ Flexible and fast delivery by using standardized components. QQ Using the wall shoe system, it is possible in a planned manner to support transversal shear pull as well as straight pull.

Sandwich Anchor and D ­ elta Anchor System Connection Systems The sandwich anchor system can be used to connect facing layer and load bearing layer of precast sandwich panels even for very large insulating layer thicknesses. QQ All system components have valid structural type approval in accordance with current standards. QQ Fast and simple design using tables and free, user-­optimized software. QQ Insulating layer thicknesses of up to 200 mm are possible. QQ Stainless steel in special quality. QQ Fast and simple installation of the anchor and of the insulation. QQ Space-saving stocking possible.

Concrete Earthing Bridges BEB, Concrete Earthing Connectors BEB Connection Systems BEB concrete earthing bridges are required to earth precast concrete parts in the vicinity of railway tracks with highvoltage overhead line systems. QQ Any practical application can be achieved using standard elements. QQ Approved by the Federal Railway Authority and permitted by DB-Netz-AG. QQ The reinforcement can be connected to welding ends of the BEB concrete earthing bridge by means of simple electric welding. QQ Concrete earthing bridges with copper cable or steel wire.

Polyamide Sockets, Socket Dowels, DB Achor Fixing Systems Planning instead of drilling – an economical solution is possible using PFEIFER insert anchors if the anchoring position is already established in the planning phase. QQ Permanently supporting structural fastenings which require generel building authority approval can now be designed to be particularly close to edges, and economical, using the anchor DB. This achors are approved in five sizes and in each case two lenghts for concrete compression and tension zones. QQ Anchorings which do not require approval can be costeffectively designed using fixing sockets with thread sizes of M 6 to M 30. QQ Polyamide sockets and Dywidag assembly sockets are particularly suitable for relatively lightly loaded fastenings and offer the advantage of being insusceptible to corrosion. QQ Using the HK system, inclined connecting pieces can be fastened to precast elements in very short time, thus reducing assembly time to a minimum.

PFEIFER-LB-Box – the new technology for the safe and flexible easy-to-assemble and highly economic joining of concrete elements made from lightweight concrete.

Here are some examples of our individual special components: milled – stamped – pressed –welded – swaged.

Reinforcement elements for chimney sections of one storey in height and connecting elements together with associated lifting loops. Connectors for floor and wall elements for prefabricated garage construction.

Remedial anchor: The solution for retrospective fixing of transport anchors where they have been damaged or omitted.

PFEIFER LB Anchors were developed as transport anchors for wall panels of one storey in height made from lightweight concrete. The low strength of the wall panels makes it necessary to spread theforces into the depth using a large anchor plate.

Double socket bars for lifting and rigid connection.

Masonry anchor with wire rope loop for lifting prefabricated masonry slabs.

Anchors from the thread system for special requirements.

PFEIFER MV loops are flexible steel wire loops for making structural joints between pre­ fabricated masonry panels.
