OUR PODS The log Pod Ltd designs and manufactures high quality Glamping Pods which are best described as a “Mobile timber tent type structure” they are conceived as an allyear-round living space. Our Log Pods are as welcoming in the cold of winter as it is in the heat of summer, and unlike any tent, the Log Pod has been designed to have a lifespan of at least 25 years. In these days of increased ecological awareness, the Log Pod also stands proud. Almost every component of the Log Pod is either bio-degradable or recyclable. As you would expect, all timber elements are manufactured from sustainable sources. Although Log Pods can be purchased by members of the public for use as garden offices or extra accommodation, they are primarily aimed at businesses in the leisure industry. Originally designed for use on campsites, Log Pods can be situated almost anywhere, and on any terrain. In recent times we have supplied Log Pods to customers in the following areas:Campsites, Youth Camps, Outdoor Activity Centres, Fisheries / Fishing Lodges, Animal Nature Reserves, Retreats and Meditation Centres, Equestrian Centres, Offices for Woodland Management, Pubs and Country House Hotels.

MOVING THE PODS Our Log Pods are fully mobile and come with their own chassis and electronics and can be moved on the road by car trailer or around your property by tractor or 4x4.

SPECIFICATIONS Overall Dimensions L x W x H: 4,800 x 2, 2532 x 2,950 Height is measured from the ground and includes the chassis. All exterior wall panels are constructed from 4" tanalised interlocking Log Lap timbers. All other fascias, uprights, plinths and panels are of pressed and tanalised timber. All timber used in the manufacture of the Log Pod is FSC-certified. All walls (Inc. the porch) the roof, and the floor have a breathable membrane to protect from water ingress.

INTERIOR SPECIFICATIONS DOORS AND WINDOWS Internal Dimensions are: metric 3,540 x 2,335 x 2,200 Height is from floor to ceiling. Internal Dimensions are: feet inches 11’7” x 7’8” x 7’3” Height is from floor to ceiling. Wall and ceiling panels are constructed from 16mm profiled Redwood with 35mm studding. The floor is of heavy duty laminate. Insulation is provided by a 30mm layer of Rockwool, and includes floor insulation. Both the door and window are UPVC double-glazed units with 5-lever security locks. The door measures: 1,900 x 900. The window is: 900 x 700 - standard door and window colour is light-oak.

THE GOTHIC POD The Gothic Pod is based on the Log Pod chassis and consequently the dimensions are exactly the same. There are however 3 notable differences in the overall build:1. Internal timbers are 16mm profiled and interlocking Redwood. 2. A wider 900mm door allowing full wheelchair access. 3. A new Log Lap profile allowing hidden-nail technology.

ELECTRICAL AND OTHER FITTINGS Log Pods are supplied with an electric pack as standard. This includes: 4 Led lights (3 internal, 1 external), double 240v sockets, light switch, fuse box and circuit breaker. With the introduction of the Solar Pack, the Log Pod is now available with a 12/24v system an air vent is situated above the door. All our Log Pods come with a domestic electrical installation certificate tested by an Electrical Contractors.
