2016 Realogy Corporate Social Responsibility Report

CHAIRMAN’S MESSAGE

Our Noble Purpose Opening Doors

Our Mission

We empower real estate professionals and strengthen communities by delivering exceptional brands, support and service through the quality and integrity of our people.

Realogy is comprised of world-renowned brands in real estate franchising, brokerage services, relocation, title and settlement services. Our company is built on a foundation of integrity and ethics, and being socially responsible is ingrained in our culture. Our people take great pride in their contributions at work and in their communities. We make environmental stewardship a priority across our company locations through recycling, conservation and efficient office management practices such as paper reduction, alternative commuting options, local community initiatives and other environmentally friendly practices. In 2015, across Realogy’s U.S. locations companywide, the company’s paper shredding efforts included 3.5 million pounds of paper, which is equivalent to saving 30,000 trees or 74 acres of forest. And our corporate and subsidiary headquarters locations joined in the efforts to enhance and promote sustainability measures through a variety of other initiatives you can read about in this report.

Our commitment to sustainability extends to the health and well-being of our employees. Through our comprehensive wellness initiative, employees receive holistic health education and programming to target many dimensions of wellness, including physical health, nutrition education, mind-body wellness, work/life balance, and positive workplace culture. In 2015, Realogy was named a Gold Standard employer by the CEO Roundtable on Cancer for the fourth consecutive year. Just as our employees’ well-being is important to Realogy, the well-being of others in their communities is clearly important to them. Year after year, our employees, along with our affiliated real estate brokers and sales associates, work selflessly toward charitable efforts that have raised and donated over $83 million since 2006, including $9.1 million in 2015. The giving nature and generosity of our employees is as solid as their commitment to doing business the right way – with integrity. Any successful

and sustainable organization relies on a strong ethical foundation and the integrity of its employees. In 2016, for the fifth year in a row, Realogy has been recognized as one of the World’s Most Ethical Companies by Ethisphere® Institute, the global leader in defining and advancing ethical business practices. This is a tribute to our people, who take tremendous pride in doing business the right way, and we are proud that our employees have identified our collective commitment to ethics as one of the most important reasons they stay with the Company.

ETHICS & COMPLIANCE

“The Code of Ethics reflects Realogy’s core values that define our company’s culture. Our culture permeates every interaction we have and helps us forge relationships that give us a competitive edge. We all help build this culture every day, and we are extremely proud of it.” – Elisabeth W. Gehringer Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer AT REALOGY, INTEGRITY IS A CORE VALUE

Since our company’s inception, we have focused on doing business the right way by operating with integrity, building customer loyalty with each interaction and providing ethical leadership within our industry around the world. Our executives and employees embrace the company’s commitment to integrity and that commitment produced extraordinary long-term benefits — by helping us manage through a historic housing downturn, attract exceptional talent, and retain valuable customer relationships. We do business the right way, and as a result, people consistently want to work with us. Fundamentally, operating with integrity means that our day-to-day decisions are driven by a commitment to deliver high quality services and products to clients. Our employees act with integrity, and our customers and vendors respect our principled approach to business. We infuse ethics into our larger global

mission and into our smaller daily considerations, and we wouldn’t want it any other way. Good ethics is good business — good for our company, good for our customers and good for the marketplace. Not that it’s always easy. We work at it – and we work hard. Our employees work every day to put integrity to work in their business operations. Each year, 100% of our employees complete ethics training and commit to following Realogy’s Code of Ethics and Key Employment Policies. They report concerns to the Ethics & Compliance reporting line, and they self-report conflicts of interest so the company can address them appropriately. As each year passes, we improve our ethics program so that our team can better serve customers with integrity. (A) Last year, Realogy redesigned the Code of Ethics and Key Employment Policies to incorporate new guidance

and address new issues based on all we learned from employees over the years. We then created a mobile-accessible microsite for the Code to ensure that guidance is never far from our employees’ fingertips if they have questions. We also translated our Code into multiple languages to allow our employees in the United States and abroad to access the Code in their native languages. Making sure our employees know how to handle a problem ethically in the moment is critical to our success and our reputation. And that’s important to our employees. Our employees are the backbone of the ethics program. They act with integrity and take tremendous pride in working for an ethical company. In a 2015 survey, Realogy employees listed our collective commitment to ethics as one of the most important reasons they stay with the company. In addition, our employees consistently identify ethics and integrity as values they recognize and respect in their work at Realogy.

Thanks to our employees’ efforts, Realogy’s commitment to ethics is recognized time and again. Our company ranks among an elite group of organizations for its demonstrated commitment to ethics. For the fifth year in a row, Realogy has been recognized as one of the World’s Most Ethical Companies by Ethisphere® Institute, the global leader in defining and advancing ethical business practices. Behind every successful company are individual employees committed to acting with the highest ethical standards. At Realogy, we’re in good company.

EMPLOYEE WELLNESS

Realogy is committed to providing employees with health and wellness resources. Through the company’s comprehensive wellness initiative, employees receive holistic health education and programming to target many dimensions of wellness, including physical health, nutrition education, mind-body wellness and workplace flexibility. The wellness program is available in its entirety online so that employees across the globe, whether working at home or in the office, can access its offerings and make their wellness goals a reality. These offerings include monthly health newsletters, company-developed videos, a wellness portal with health status evaluations, informational wellness webinars, and optional contests with incentives. Realogy has earned recognition from health organizations for its commitment to employee well-being. In 2015, for the fourth consecutive year, Realogy was named a Gold Standard employer by the CEO Roundtable on Cancer. Realogy provides a tobacco-free workplace policy throughout the U.S., makes available a tobacco cessation program to employees, and provides coverage for evidencebased tobacco-cessation treatments for employees and covered dependents enrolled in the company’s health plans. Employees are also invited to take part in support groups that connect Realogy employees with more in common than just their workplace, like the Cancer Survivor Partner program. In some company locations, employees have access to on-site screenings, health fairs, free influenza shot clinics, an on-site nurse practitioner or physician’s assistant, and nearby pharmacies that deliver medicine to the employee’s work location. For example, at the company’s Singapore

location within the Cartus business unit, employees signed up for a complimentary health screening consisting of a heart disease risk assessment, body-mass index measurement, blood pressure screening and a blood test to assess glucose and cholesterol levels, receiving their lab results afterward. (A) That office also earned a Gold Award this past year at the biennial Singapore HEALTH (Helping Employees Achieve Life-Time Health) Awards in recognition of its workplace health programs, following three prior consecutive award wins.

keeps the conversation going with employees about health related topics that matter to them. For example, a discussion was formed around the topic of eating green vegetables that generated more than 1,000 views and 100 comments from employees, and another online discussion about capturing happiness, which focused on boosting mental, emotional and physical health through simple daily activities, resulted in 2,000 views and 70 comments. Work-life balance and flexibility also play important roles in emotional wellness. Realogy recognizes the value of giving

parents time to bond with a new child, providing paid time off for parents of a newborn or newly adopted child under the age of 18. And the company’s flexible scheduling policy provides employees with an opportunity to better adjust their work schedule with their home responsibilities while still meeting business needs.

WORKPLACE

Realogy is known in the real estate industry for its partnerships with diverse national real estate associations. With these continued relationships and the knowledge gained from forging them, Realogy shifted its focus internally in 2015 by expanding the role of two executives to oversee Realogy’s enterprise-wide diversity framework, employee resource groups, diversity training initiatives and the company’s Diversity & Inclusion Council. REALOGY ... Opening doors to unlock the possibilities within you.

The Diversity & Inclusion Council, founded in 2006, helped to form the company’s two Employee Resource Groups that provide support, advocacy, education and mentoring to all employees. They include the Women’s Advisory Council (est. 2012), and the SERVICE Veterans Committee (est. 2014). In early 2016, the Diversity & Inclusion Council announced that additional Employee Networks were being formed based on employee interest. Thus far, Employee Networks have kicked off for young and aspiring professionals, the LGBT community, various cultural groups, and people with disabilities.

GENDER

In 2015, the Women’s Advisory Council conducted its second survey to ascertain the areas most critical to Realogy women employees, revealing their interests in career development, managing worklife balance, flexible work options, and networking across company locations.

Toward the career development focus, the Council hosted a panel, “How to Be Best Positioned for Success,” which was made available to employees worldwide. The local Women’s Council also hosted at Title Resource Group’s (TRG) Mt. Laurel, N.J. headquarters, guest speaker Dr. Laura Sicola. Dr. Sicola is a speech coach for the TED Fellows program, and she spoke to employees about using the power of voice to develop a vocal executive presence. We are proud that in 2015 Realogy was once again recognized with a Corporate Board Gender Diversity Award by Executive Women of New Jersey for the high percentage of women Realogy has on its corporate Board. Recognition for three Realogy women executives came in the form of two awards. The Network Journal honored Realogy’s Shacara Delgado, senior vice president, employment and benefits law, with its “25 Influential Black Women in Business Award.” And for receiving a “Woman Worth Watching Award” from Profiles

in Diversity Journal, we salute Debbie Higgins, senior vice president of human resources for TRG, and Jennifer Marchetti, chief marketing officer for Better Homes and Gardens® Real Estate, for the positive influence they exhibit inside and outside the company.

ETHNIC

The Diversity & Inclusion Council held its 4th Annual Diversity & Inclusion Week in 2015, during which employees shared traditions from their cultural background and learned about one another’s customs. (A) Employees in locations in different parts of the world posted pictures of their activities and thoughts about the week on discussion boards within the company’s internal social media site. The Council hosted “Living & Working in the Middle East,” a lively presentation by Sebastien Besson, CEO & Partner, Intouch Relocations, Dubai, UAE, who addressed the cultural and logistical challenges and opportunities that

MARKETPLACE DIVERSITY

In 2015, in markets around the country, Realogy hosted EXPLORE Conferences where company leaders discussed key real estate industry trends with diverse audiences comprised of unaffiliated real estate broker/owners. Many attendees are members of the Asian Real Estate Association of America (AREAA), National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP), National Association of Gay & Lesbian Real Estate Professionals (NAGLREP) or the National Association of Real Estate Brokers (NAREB). Realogy established partnerships with diverse industry organizations to further their respective missions of increasing homeownership among their constituents. The support Realogy and its real estate brands — Better Homes and Gardens® Real Estate, CENTURY 21®, Coldwell Banker®, ERA® and Sotheby’s International Realty® — provide to these partners was heavily underscored by the significant presence of company representatives as speakers, panelists, moderators and sponsors at their respective conventions. The combined events attracted thousands of real estate professionals and key industry influencers who listened to Realogy leaders speak at conferences for AREAA, NAHREP, NAGLREP, and NAREB, among others.

(A) A key highlight was a pre-event that Realogy hosted at its New Jersey headquarters with NAHREP prior to a performance of NAHREP’s 53 Million & One show. This show tour, sponsored by Century 21 Real Estate, is about the journey of a Hispanic immigrant who ultimately became a successful entrepreneur. More than 300 Realogy employees, local practitioners, business neighbors, customers and community representatives attended the pre-event that discussed business perspectives on Hispanic homeownership. CENTURY 21 is proud to be recognized on NAHREP’s Top 250 Latino Agent list with the No. 1 Latino agent by sales volume in 2014, and three agents listed among the Top 15 by transaction sides.

Coldwell Banker provided key speakers and panelists for AREAA’s Global Luxury Summit as well as their International Conference, and did the same for NAGLREP’s conference as a sponsor. Coldwell Banker aired a heart-warming television commercial during the 2015 Academy Awards about ‘Home’s Best Friend’ with homeowners, including a same-sex couple. Sotheby’s International Realty Affiliates provided speakers for multiple NAHREP events and is involved with their Hispanic Wealth Initiative. The brand also sponsored AREAA events this past year and often places conference speakers at AREAA to underscore its support.

Realogy’s brands delved deeply into diverse communities through a business approach to understanding the nuances and real estate needs of their market. Prime examples of this in 2015 included Better Homes and Gardens® Real Estate’s partnerships with: NAGLREP, in conducting the first-ever LGBT study dedicated to homeownership; NAHREP, in a study that found Hispanic women are a driving force behind decisions related to the home-buying process; and, AREAA, on a study of Chinese-Americans and the impact of the ancient design philosophy, feng shui, on their home-buying mindset and preferences. ERA Real Estate also sponsored and provided speakers to the NAHREP and AREAA conventions. And for the second consecutive year, ERA Mi Casa Real Estate in Chicago was the single company with the most agents on the prestigious NAHREP Top 250 List of Latino Agents. ERA Real Estate is proud that the brand was voted one of the nation’s top franchises for military veterans, according to Franchise Business Review. ERA conducted a study last year about market conditions in key U.S. military markets revealing insights about this important

segment and comparing similarities and differences with national housing indicators. Realogy also partners with organizations outside the real estate industry. For example, Realogy is a member corporation of the Executive Leadership Council and participated in its 2015 gala that celebrated the business achievements of global black executives, entrepreneurs and academics supporting diversity and inclusion in corporate America. SUPPLIER DIVERSITY Realogy’s relocation and workforce solutions business unit, Cartus, offers a broad range of world-class employee relocation services designed to manage all aspects of an employee’s move and facilitate a smooth transition in what may otherwise be a difficult process. In that pursuit, Cartus is dedicated to promoting supplier diversity and conducts outreach, monitoring, and measurement on behalf of numerous clients, receiving numerous awards for their efforts. Cartus focuses on developing and maintaining bidder lists of small, minority- and women-owned business enterprises (S/M/WBEs) from all

possible sources, while also ensuring the inclusion of S/M/WBEs in all solicitations for products or services which they are capable of providing. In 2015, Cartus President and CEO Kevin Kelleher was the featured speaker on minority business programs sponsored by the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College. (B) Cartus is represented on the Board of Directors for the Greater New England Minority Supplier Development Council, and in 2015, participated in an exhibit booth at its annual expo. This supplier development event is attended by over 700 corporations and minority business entrepreneurs. In an effort to boost global citizenship among its suppliers, Cartus presented its 2015 Global Citizenship Award to Aboda Global Housing Management of Redmond, Washington, a member of its supplier network chosen for their commitment to making an impact on the health, welfare, and safety of others, and/or for improving a community’s quality of life on a national or international basis.

COMMUNITY

Giving back to our communities Since 2006, Realogy employees, affiliated brokers and sales associates have helped to raise over $83 million for charitable causes that are important to them, including $9.1 million in 2015. Part of those funds were raised through the Realogy Charitable Foundation, which has approximately 30 local chapters across the United States that raised $2.6 million in 2015, and over $27 million since its inception. We are proud of the selfless efforts and generosity of all the individuals who dedicate their time to helping others in need. In early 2016, Realogy introduced one volunteer day off with pay so that employees could devote that time to causes important to them. In one of the company’s major locations, a Volunteer Fair was held with 25 agencies showcasing their volunteer opportunities, making it easy to identify opportunities to give back to their local communities. CRISIS OUTREACH Extending beyond our local communities to our global communities, our employees care deeply for the well-being of others. (A) After the devastating terrorist attacks on November 13 in Paris, our brands with master franchises in France posed for team photos displaying the French flag, and sent photos with words of encouragement to their affiliates in France. A discussion board was started for our Cartus employees in Paris, and employees from locations around the world posted messages of support — the discussion received more comments than any other the whole year.

PARTNERING FOR CHARITY Realogy’s global real estate brands have been partnering to support charities, and their contributions throughout 2015 are summarized here: For 2015, Better Homes and Gardens® Real Estate has been the exclusive residential real estate brand partner for Rebuilding Together, a nonprofit organization that provides critical repairs, accessibility modifications and energyefficient upgrades to those unable to maintain their homes, including elderly, disabled and low-income homeowners. In January 2016, Better Homes and Gardens® Real Estate CEO Sherry Chris was elected chair of the Rebuilding Together national board of directors. In 2015, the CENTURY 21® System raised $2.9 million for Easter Seals for the second consecutive year, with a grand total now surpassing $114 million since 1979. Easter Seals is the leading non-profit provider of services for individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, physical disabilities and other special needs.

by Adopt-a-Pet.com for partnering with them to find forever homes for 20,000 adoptable dogs in eight months. In 2015, ERA Franchise Systems LLC commemorated its 40-year partnership with the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) with the launch of the ERA MDA Summer Camp Challenge. ERA franchised companies nationwide host events and fundraisers throughout the year including golf tournaments, walkathons, and auctions to raise funds with the goal of sending children with muscular dystrophy to MDA Summer Camp. ERA is at 65% of its goal to send 1,000 kids to camp, after the first year of its three-year campaign. To date, the ERA network has raised nearly $35 million to help fight neuromuscular diseases and to send kids to camp.

Sotheby’s International Realty, Inc.’s company-owned brokerage offices support Conservation International (CI), a global organization committed to empowering societies to care for nature for the well-being of humanity. In their statement, the American Red Cross said, “The American Red Cross and Cartus have had a longstanding relationship in this life-saving mission. Since 2003, employees of Cartus have donated 2,893 pints of blood, which have helped save the lives of 8,679 patients— right here in Connecticut. As a company and a group of donors, you have helped your neighbors, friends, and families in the communities where you live and work.” GOOD NEIGHBOR The 2015 Good Neighbor Award was presented by Realtor Magazine to John Kersten, president, CENTURY 21 Town & Country in Michigan. For 23 years, Kersten has volunteered his time and talent raising funds for Easter Seals Michigan. He runs five annual car and cash raffles, which net more than $1 million a year. The $15 million he has raised over the years supports children and adults with disabilities, including the Miracle League baseball team for children with disabilities and the Agrability program, which serves farmers with injuries, illnesses or aging conditions.

AROUND THE GLOBE Across the globe, our employees and affiliated sales associates volunteer their time to help those who need it most. Here are just a handful of their contributions: • Employees from the Cartus Singapore office volunteered their time at the Sea Aquarium to accompany residents from the Hua Kwan Seniors Activity Centre. Each employee partnered with an elderly couple or resident and guided them through the aquarium. • The team at NRT’s Central Region Service Center in Deerfield, Illinois, and NRT local operating companies in the Chicago area held a holiday toy drive for children at Cornerstone Community Outreach in Chicago, which provides shelter for individuals and families in need. • In 2015, TRG CARES continued to support Providence House Domestic Violence Services program and shelter in Burlington County, New Jersey, providing volunteers for two days of service during which they worked on updating both the interior and exterior of the shelter. Title Resource Group’s charity events and fundraisers enabled TRG Cares to afford project upgrades at the Providence House, in addition to making donations to support the South Jersey Food Bank, the American Red Cross Local Disaster Fund, and Realogy’s initiatives for supporting homes for veterans.

Employees at TRG in Mount Laurel, N.J., wore blue as part of the Light It Up Blue campaign for World Autism Awareness Day.

Across Realogy, walkers and supporters participated in and donated to the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walks this past October.

Employees and affiliated sales associates at NRT’s Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate office in Sarasota, Florida, volunteered at a local animal rescue center, and collected funds to donate for local humane societies.

ENVIRONMENT

Environmental stewardship is a company-wide priority. And our corporate and subsidiary headquarters locations joined in the efforts to enhance and promote sustainability measures through a variety of other initiatives.

with new energy-efficient units, helping to reduce its carbon footprint. (A) Along with its headquarters lobby renovation, new lighting was installed on the outdoor walkways and visitor areas. We are proud that Connecticut’s Department of Energy and Environmental Protection named Cartus a GreenCircle award winner for its efforts to protect the environment and natural resources.

At Cartus headquarters in Danbury, Connecticut, parts of the building underwent renovations during 2015 that resulted in several improvements toward green initiatives. Cartus renovated and re-opened its new cafeteria that included the installation of: LEED Certified products for the quartz countertops and booth seating, zero volatile organic compound (VOC) paints that offer zero emissions and virtually no odor, recyclable flooring, and also replaced Styrofoam cups and bowls with environmentally friendly products. The accompanying, new 3,000-square-foot outdoor patio has a gas fireplace and seating for up to 85 employees to enjoy the great outdoors. Additionally, the facility reduced the number of boilers at its headquarters facility from eight to three, replacing 25-year-old HVAC units

(B) Our employees also took pride in the company’s renovation efforts, with over 300 Cartus employees signing one of the beams used in the recent renovation. Employees also contributed to a project transitioning from printing 3,000 paper manuals for worldwide users of its language learning materials to an e-delivery model via tablets – the company received a Gold Connecticut Quality Improvement Award for the innovation. And Cartus employees in other locations are also doing their part toward caring for the environment, like in Munich, Germany, where all six Cartus employees ride their bicycles to work every day. (Check out the Employee Wellness section to read about how Cartus’ Connecticut headquarters location opened a fitness center this past year.)

At Realogy’s corporate headquarters in Madison, New Jersey, the company’s conservation efforts in 2015 had a positive impact on saving electricity, oil, gasoline, cooking oil, water, trees and landfill airspace, and resulted in a switch from corrugated boxes to reusable moving crates. A data center energy and efficiency project this past year included the installation of air curtains to redirect airflow within data center equipment racks to allow one unit to be shut down through HVAC efficiency. Approximately 400 halogen lamps in the lobbies and elevators were converted to LED lamps; upgraded lighting was installed in the parking garage with new LED 37w fixtures with integrated motion sensors; and, timers were placed in various parts of the building. The Company has carpool programs in place and this past year added dedicated spots at this location through a communications campaign to its employees. And employees who are passionate about the environment are invited to get involved in a Green Team led by the Facilities department to discuss recycling and sustainability initiatives. On a unique note, Realogy’s headquarters worked with a New Jersey apiary this year to add honey bee hives onsite to aid in

(A)

the pollination of Realogy’s wild flower meadow and local flora. The company plans to sell the honey harvested with funds going to support the Realogy Charitable Foundation. In Title Resource Group’s (TRG) Mt. Laurel headquarters, each work station has a container for plastic, white paper, cans, and/or cardboard. TRG fills an 8-cubic yard container every weekday that is recycled and saved from landfills. At this headquarters location, the company replaced 2,200 light bulbs from T8 Fluorescent to LED during 2015; therefore, what used to burn 70,000 watts in lighting the same space now only uses less than 10,000 watts — and the lights are brighter, and softer, and have a 10-year warranty on them. TRG also instituted building controls to turn the lights and HVAC off after production hours. At Realogy, we take our role seriously as a member of the global community to protect and conserve natural resources. We are intentional in our efforts to enhance the environment and continually look at ways to undertake initiatives that promote greater environmental responsibilities.
