WELCOME! At Juicernet by Mulligan Associates we supply the world’s finest commercial juice extractors. With over 30 years experience in commercial juicing we have sampled a lot of juice drinks. Here are some recipes to inspire you to bring some new tasting blends to your customers. We love to help our customers profit while promoting good health. We recommend keeping your juice and smoothies healthy by sticking with an 80/20 mix, 80% vegetables and 20% fruit. For your customers who enjoy a sweeter beverage you can add a natural sweetener like 1 tablespoon honey, 1 tablespoon maple syrup, 1 teaspoon agave or the juice of 1 apple. Do not use any pasteurized juices in your blends. Use only fresh produce and keep it local and seasonal when you can. Add a few seasonal recipes to the menu to both save costs by using what is in season and keeping your customers excited to try something new. Some customers will prefer a basic juice so always have some juices that are good for beginners like carrot and apple blends. Try our Sunshine Juice, a blend of carrots, red apples and orange juice, it is a real crowd pleaser. More experienced juicers will look for healthy green blends so also include those as well. Many enjoy fresh squeezed orange juice, with a commercial citrus machine you can add bottled orange juice, lemonade, lime juice to your offerings.

For the recipes that follow all directions are the same. Starting with clean produce, juice and enjoy! An easy way to remember how to prep produce for juicing is that you juice it as you would eat it, so if you would peel an orange to eat it you do the same to juice it. If you are using our Ceado ES-700 your prep time is reduced because the dual chutes are sized to fit most produce with little cutting. Apples fit nicely in the larger chute, no need to core or cut. Celery leaves are also full of nutrients and should be left on as you slide into the smaller chute, but carrot greens can be juiced but are bitter so we recommend removing them. Keep the produce cool and your juice will be a good temperature. All citrus does need to be peeled. Some produce is better kept to smoothies and you should not juice at all, such as bananas and avocados.

SMOOTHIE TIPS: Keep your bananas frozen, it gives your smoothies a creamy texture and adds a little sweetness. The smoothie recipes we have can easily be changed by exchanging certain ingredients. Suggested smoothie bases: coconut milk, coconut water, almond milk, greek yogurt, filtered water, fruit juice, or green tea. Also keep other fruits frozen and you will not need to add ice, such as strawberries, pineapples, bananas and berries. You should always add the leafy greens and liquids and blend first, then add the frozen fruit and any extra sweeteners. Your menu should aim to appeal to a large audience. Get to know your customer demographics, track their likes and your top selling juices. Be flexible with your menu and target different groups and adapt as you learn what your customers prefer. If you notice a large lunchtime crowd add on a heartier meal replacement smoothie with some protein powder. Many different demographics are coming to juice bars because it offers a quick and easy way to add missing nutrients to their daily diets. Offer free juice samples on busy days for new juice customers to try it and see that green juice can be yummy!
