SE ECTION INFORM MATION The PGA Board d of Directors has determined thatt the allocattion of the number of players adv vancing from m each h Section PG GA Professio onal Champ pionship to the PGA Pr ofessional C Championsh hip will be b based on the e averrage number of players s in the last five (5) yea ars (using a actual numb ber of eligib ble players sstarting their Cham mpionship). All a applicants must m compette in the Sec ction in whic ch they are a affiliated on n their Sectio on’s entry deadline date e unless they have e transferred d to a new Section. S Applicants who have transfferred into a new Section after the eir Section’ss entry dead dline have the option of competing in their original Section S or in n their new Section, butt not in both h. In order tto compete in their new w Secttion, they must inform their t new Se ection of the eir intention n at least sev ven (7) day ys prior to th hat Section's even nt. A “n no refund” policy p is in effect. Plea ase notify your y Section n directly if you need to withdraw w after their dead dline. After the entry y deadline, no money will be reffunded from m PGA Hea adquarters and anyone e requ uesting a reffund after that time will be referre ed back to ttheir respective Section n. A $25 ad dministration n fee w will be withh held for any withdrawal prior to the e entry dead dline. Any a amount colle ected above e $60 can be e refun nded by the e Section at their discrettion.

METHO OD OF P PLAY The Section PGA A Profession nal Champio onship is a stroke play e event with a minimum o of 36 holes. In the event of a tie for the last advancing place or an alternate’s place, th here should be a play-o off as determ mined by the e Secttion. Substitutions, in order o of qua alifying scores, will be a allowed for q qualifiers un nable to com mpete in the e Natio onal Champ pionship, prio or to a spec cified date.

Applicant agree es that in the event of acceptan nce of the application n, the appliication and Applicant’s participation in the Sectio on PGA Pro ofessional Championsh C ip may be rejected or revoked at any time e there eafter for violation of elligibility criteria or any conditions c o of entry. Participation in all stages of the Section PGA Professional Cha ampionship is subject tto all Rules, Regulations s, and provisions of the Constitution, and applicable Secttion PGA Professiona C , Bylaws, Regulations R al Cham mpionship eligibility e criteria and other o conditions of entrry applicablle to the Se ection PGA Professiona al Cham mpionship. Applicant agree es to refrain n from any action, which will inte erfere with the orderly y recording,, production n reproduction, publication and dissem p mination of such reco rdings, tran nsmissions, films tapess, electronic c transsmissions, pictures, p pho otographs, or o images. As a condition of o entry, all players exp pressly relea ase and disc charge the PGA of Am merica, PGA Tournament Corp poration, Inc c., its affiliate es and subsidiaries, officers, directo ors, employe ees, membe ers, sponsorss, respective e PGA A Section an nd host site from and against any claims for in njuries susta ained in any y way attrib butable to or incid dental to pa articipating in the Section PGA Professional P Championsship, and acknowledge es that they y exprressly assum me the risks and dangerrs incidentall to particip pation in the e event, inclu usive of, but not limited d to, injuries caus sed by erra ant golf sho ots, injuries sustained a attributable to weatherr conditionss, or injuries attributable to the t golf cou urse or host site’s premiises. Playe ers agree tha at they choo ose to partic cipate in the e even nt at their ow wn risk and will assume the risk of injury in asso ociation witth participatting in the ev vent. Applicant agree es that Appllicant will no ot share in any part of the prize m money, whic ch Applicantt may win in n the S Section PGA A Profession nal Championship, with any a other co ontestant. If invited, Applicant agree es to play in the Profe essional-Spo onsor eventt, if one is held, and Applicant is selec cted to partticipate, and d to honor all a applicable e obligation ns should Ap pplicant agrree to partic cipate in any y laterr corporate outings fo or which Ap pplicant becomes elig ible through Applicant’s perform mance in the e p. Secttion PGA Pro ofessional Championshi C It is also unders stood that Applicant’s A participation p n in the PGA A Profession nal Champio onship is sub bject to prequalifying unless s he/she is among a those who are exempt from m qualifying. At th he 2017 PGA A Profession nal Champio onship, playe ers must em mploy a cadd die for all Ch hampionship p rounds and d shalll walk at all times t during g a stipulate ed round.

PO OLICIES Entry fees must be received d by the entry deadlines s, which are established d and set forrth herein. Therre shall be no n waivers of o entry dead dlines unless s approved by the PGA A Officers ac cting in the best interest of th he game of golf, g sponso ors, hosts/sittes, the public and/or th he players. Therre will be no o entry refun nds after the e closing datte for entrie s. Although compe eting from separate s tee es (men from m the men’s tees and women from the women’’s tees), men n and women pro ofessionals shall s compette for the sa ame purse. For examp ple, the man or woman professiona al with the lowest score shall win w first place money. Wom men particip pating from the women’s tees sha all not be e eligible to e earn playing g privileges in the PGA A Cham mpionship and a tournam ments co-spo onsored or approved a by y the PGA T TOUR, the C Champions T TOUR, or the e web.com TOUR R. Prior to starting s at the Section level, a wom man must d declare from m which teess she will be e playing.

COND DITIONS OF COM MPETITI ON The PGA Board d of Directo ors approved the follow wing chang es concerniing the Con nditions of Competition n rega arding groov ves and/or punch p mark ks in addition to allowin ng the use o of distance m measuring d devices at all three e major me ember cham mpionships starting in 2016, i.e., P PGA Professsional Cham mpionship, Senior PGA A Professional Cha ampionship and Assista ant PGA Professional Ch hampionship p: 1.

The PGA A of Americ ca adopted the conditiions of com mpetition fo or grooves a and/or pun ch marks at the Secttion level (qualifying stages) of these thre e Champio nship even nts. ALL p layers must comply with w this co ondition of competition c n. 2 2. DISTANC CE MEASUR RING DEVIC CES: A player or his/h her caddie m may obtain distance infformation by y using a device thatt measures distance. If, during a stipulated d round, a player usess a distance e measurin ng device to o gauge or measure m other condition ns that migh ht affect his/ /her play (e.g., gradientt, wind spe eed, temperrature, etc.), the player is in breach h of Rule 14--3, for which the penaltty is two (2) strokes for f first offen nse and for subsequentt offense – d disqualifica tion.

RUL LES AND D REGUL LATIONS S The conditions governing play p and the purse disttribution wiill be determ mined by th he PGA of A America and d distrributed by the appropriate PGA Section. The Section S PGA A Profession nal Champio onship will b be subject to o the o overall supe ervision of th he Section. Prop per golfing attire a must be worn at all times du uring play. T The Tournam ment Directo or may proh hibit play by y thosse who do no ot conform to dress standards of th he Section. Any player who shall be deemed guilty y of conductt unbecomin ng a Golf Pro ofessional w while particip pating in the e Secttion PGA Pro ofessional Championshi C ip or activities related t hereto (i.e., practice rou unds, hospittality events s, etc.)), or who ottherwise vio olates the Co ode of Ethic cs of the PG GA shall be subject to ffine or susp pension from m tournament play y. A player or his/ /her caddie may obtain n distance in nformation by using a device thatt measures distance. Iff, durin ng a stipulated round, a player use es a distance e measuring g device to g gauge or measure othe er conditions that might affec ct his/her pllay (e.g., gra adient, wind d speed, tem mperature, e etc.), the pla ayer is in bre each of Rule e 14-3,, for which the t penalty is i two (2) sttrokes for firrst offense a and for subssequent offe ense – disqu ualification.

The Section Tou urnament Diirector shall be authoriz zed to imposse penaltiess consisting of a fine of $100 for the e first offense, a fine of $150 0 for the second offen nse, and su uspension frrom tournam ment play ffor the third d offen nse for any of the follow wing violatio ons:  Club thro owing/club breaking  Damage to course equipment e or property  Abuse, oral o (profan nity) or otherwise dirrected at r ules officials, other competitors, spectators s, sponsors s, tournamen nt staff, volu unteers, or others o  Consump ption of alco oholic beverrages or ma arijuana (unless pre-app proved as a treatment for a medica al condition n) during prractice round ds and/or championship p rounds  Use of cellular telep phones or an ny similar cellular telec communications equipm ment on the e golf course e during ch hampionship p rounds is prohibited p  Any othe er conduct deemed d by the t Tournam ment Directo or to be unb becoming a PGA Golf Prrofessional In th he event of a tie for firstt place at th he end of the Champion nship, there will be a pla ay-off as de etermined by y the S Section Tournament Co ommittee.

AD DDITION NAL PLA AYING O PPORTU UNITIES It is anticipated that the following additional playing opportu nities may b be available e to those w who play well in th his event fro om the back k tees and women w who o play well i n this eventt from the fforward teess. All of the e follo owing benefiits may be subject s to ch hange at any y time.

Top p 20 and ties t in the 2016 PGA A Professional Cham mpionship presented by Club Car, MercedesBenz z and OMEG GA will be exempt for the 2017 PGA A Profession nal Champio onship, if alll eligibility requirements are m met.

Any y club proffessional making m the cut in the 2016 2 PGA C hampionship will be ex xempt for th he 2017 PGA A Professional Cha ampionship,, if all eligibility requirem ments are m met.

2017 PGA A PRO OFESSIONA AL CHA AMPIO ONSH IP ADD DITIONA AL PLAYING O OPPORT TUNITIE ES It is anticipated that the following additional playing opportu nities may b be available e to those w who play well in th he Section PGA P Profess sional Cham mpionship an nd PGA Pro ofessional C Championship from the BACK tees s. The PGA Professional Champion C : 1.

Subject to t confirmation and ap pproval of th he PGA Tou ur and to the availability y of places in particular tournament fields as s determined d by the PGA Tour, the current PGA A Profession nal Champio on is exempt for a maximum of six (6) open tournamentts, beginnin ng after the PGA Tour C Championsh hip in the fall of the current c yearr through th he first Fed-Ex Cup ev vent in the following y year, in addition to any y sponsor exemptions s. Three (3) of these must m be fro om open tou urnaments h held opposiite to World d Golf Championships and the British Open.
