Welcome to Online Bill Pay Welcome to Liberty Power’s Online Bill Pay system. This User Guide has been created to help our customers get familiar with the system and its most commonly used features. Online Bill Pay is designed for our Residential and Small Business direct-billed customers (if you

are a larger business, please see your contract for payment options). With Online Bill Pay you can:    

Pay your invoice online using your Visa®, MasterCard® or Discover® credit or debit card or by check Set up recurring payments so you never have to worry about missing a payment Download past and present invoices and view payment history View usage history

If you have any questions about the system, please don’t hesitate to call our Customer Care Team at 1866-769-3799. We’re available Monday to Friday from 8:30 am EST to 8:00 pm ET, and Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.

II.

New User Registration 1. Customers can access Online Bill Pay from our website, www.libertypowercorp.com or via https://www.viewmyenergy.com/LibertyPower 2. Click on the “New Customers sign up here” link on the Online Bill Pay home page

3. Enter New User Information – see important field requirements below

Important notes on User Information: Screen Name Password Retype Password Email Address Utility Account # or ESI ID Zip Customer Number

Customer can choose screen name Password must be 5-8 characters, including 1 letter and 1 number Must match entry above If you choose to enter an email address, it must match the email address associated with your Liberty Power contract/account LDC # (found in the upper right hand corner of page 2 of invoice) Please use service address zip code 1st 8 digits of your Liberty Power Billing Account Number (found on the upper left corner of page 1 on your Liberty Power bill)

4. If you have entered correct information, you will be directed to the Customer Information tab (Home Screen)

5. From this screen you can locate:  Bill Statements  Payment History  Accounts  Usage History  Charges History  Online Payments

III.

Registered User Log-in PLEASE NOTE: you will need to create a separate Login for each Liberty Power Billing Account. Each Login will be identified by your Customer Number (first 8 digits of “Billing Account #”); Utility Account # or ESI ID (complete “LDC #”); and Zip (service address zip code).

Once you have registered, you can access the “Pay Your Bill” section on Liberty Power’s website or link to (https://www.viewmyenergy.com/LibertyPower). Simply enter your Screen Name and Password and click on the Login button:

Upon successful login, you will be directed to the Customer Info tab (Home Screen) shown above

Forgot Password If you forget your password, you can retrieve it using the “Forgot Password?” link provided on the Login screen:

You will be redirected to the Reset Password screen. Enter your Screen Name and the Email Address associated with your account and click on the “Send” button. The request will process and display a message at the bottom notifying you that an email with a temporary password will be sent shortly. 

Note: If you enter an invalid user name, but correct email address, you will receive a temporary password by email. Please note, for any changes the email address must match the one established in the Liberty Power contract/account.

Forgot Screen Name If you forget your Screen Name, you can retrieve it using the “Forgot Screen Name?” link provided on the Login screen:

You will be redirected to the “Reset Screen Name” screen. Enter your Email Address and click on the “Send” button. The request will process and your screen name will be emailed to you shortly. 

If you enter an invalid email address, you will receive a “Customer Not Found!” error. Please contact Liberty Power Customer Care 866-769-3799 for assistance. Please be sure you are listed on your Liberty Power agreement as an authorized contact to obtain this information.

V.

Make a Payment

One-time Payment Click on the Online Payments tab in your Customer info tab (Home screen). 

Select the “iCheck” option to make a payment by Visa®, MasterCard® or Discover® card, or pay by check (ACH). Note: “iCheck” is the name of Liberty Power’s payment processor which allows payment by credit card or check.

 

Select Payment Type

Billing Account – you have a separate Billing Account Number for each Liberty Power Account. Please be sure to Login to each account separately (see note on page 6)



Select Payment Type: Choose Payment Type (Credit Card or ACH for check) from the Payment Type drop down



Billing Account: This will show the specific account that you have logged-in to.

For payments with all Credit Cards except American Express and Debit Cards (must have Visa or MasterCard logo), the following information is required: o Payment Amount – must be $1.00 or greater o Credit/Debit Card # o Expiration Date o CVC Code - 3 digit code on back of credit card o First Name o Last Name o Email Address – this address can be different from what is displayed in the Liberty Power contract/account. The confirmation email generated after a successful payment will be submitted to this email address. o Credit/Debit Card Billing Street Address, City, State, and Zip are required for payment.

For ACH/Check Payments, the following information is required: o Payment Amount – must be $1.00 or greater o Billing Account – your Liberty Power Account Number o Payment Amount o Account Type

Select from PC (Personal Checking), PS (Personal Savings), BC (Business Checking), or BS (Business Savings) Account Number Bank Routing Number First Name Last Name Email Address – this address can be different from what is provided in the Liberty Power contract/account. The confirmation email generated after a successful payment will be sent to this email address. Billing Street Address, City, State, and Zip are required for payment.

Set-Up or Discontinue Auto-Payments Click on the Online Payments tab in your Customer info tab (Home Screen).



Select the “iCheck AUTOPAY” option o This will allow you to select auto-payment by Visa®, MasterCard® or Discover® card, or pay by check (ACH). Note: “iCheck” is the name of Liberty Power’s payment processor which allows payment by credit card or check.

The following screen will appear.

Choose Payment Type: Credit Card (which includes Debit Card) or ACH (for check) from the Payment Type drop down (see illustration below)

 For Credit and Debit Card, the following information is required: o Credit/Debit Card # o Expiration Date o First Name o Last Name  Click “Subscribe.”

If you have entered the correct information, you will receive a Success message.

 For ACH/Check Payments, follow the steps above, selecting “ACH” from the Payment Type dropdown (shown above). The following information is required: 

If you have entered the correct information, you will receive a Success message.

If you return to the iCheck AUTOPAY screen after completing the Credit/Debit Card or ACH/Checking information, you will see that your Billing Account now shows it is AUTOPAY.

To discontinue autopay: scroll down on the iCheck AUTOPAY screen and you’ll see “Recurring Payments – Unsubscribe.” Your payment method also appears here. To discontinue the autopay, click “Unsubscribe.”

You will receive a “Success” message for your “Unsubscribe.” 

NOTE: If you have one recurring payment method established and wish to use an alternate payment method, you must first “Unsubscribe” the original payment method and then follow the steps above to establish a new method. If you attempt to add a second method when one payment method is already active, you will receive the following error message:

From your Home Screen, click on Bill Statements. Remember, each Account will have a separate login (see page 6) and an individual Bill Statement page Here, you can:   
