End User Support There was one patch release in Oncourse CL during the month of May that addressed a problem with the copyright date on page footers. In addition to the patch release, we experienced problems in Original Oncourse with spica07 running out of temp space. There is a batch job that runs on the backend that clears the temp space, but it was determined that the job had been failing and therefore, not clearing the space as expected. This caused end users problems when trying to upload/download attachments. A fix was put into place on May 1st that addressed this issue. It appears that the slowdowns are being caused by an application bug, but the development team has still yet to isolate what’s triggering the problem. Andrew was going to put some debugging code in place to try to find the source of the problem. Maintenance Throughout the month, changes are made to the production system to resolve existing problems or to provide standard system maintenance. During the month of May minimal changes were made to the systems in preparation for a June 2nd upgrade. • •
