WHAT YOU MUST ALWAYS DO To cross the road safely:
You must always cross the road at a pedestrian crossing.
If there is no pedestrian crossing:
Find a safe place where you can see and be seen. Stop by the edge of the road. Look all around for traffic and listen.
When there are vehicles coming, be patient, wait until they are gone.
When there are no vehicles coming:
Walk straight across, do not run. Keep looking and listening while you cross.
To cross the road safely: If the RED man appears, you cannot cross. If the GREEN man appears, and the vehicles have stopped, you can cross. You must always follow the instructions of the police officer.

WHAT YOU MUST NEVER DO
You must never stop in the middle of the road, even if you are on a pedestrian crossing. You must NEVER cross the road when the traffic light is GREEN for vehicles.
Wait for the traffic light for vehicles to switch to RED and make sure that the vehicles have stopped before crossing the road. You must NEVER cross the road without looking on both sides of the road.
