OVOTZ design Lab. is an architecture, interior and product design studio. We are working with both Polish and international clients and we are based in the fastest growing development market in Europe. As always, interference into a settled urban structure demands a great amount of subtleness and respect. By doing it so, new buildings and those already existing can stand side by side and aesthetically profit from one another. The front façade design is dramatically split between the ground floor of the building and upper storeys. A unique effect is achieved by the use of grey basalt cladding and with rusty pillars, bronze entrance frames and fittings and enhanced by subtle details of the façade.

OFF WHITE APART – HOTEL KRAKOW

The soul of things which had been carefully chosen, selected and set together, brings to life Off White business & leisure apartments. The white-painted concrete floors, white walls and white panels appear to be a perfect setting for slightly more colorful details so crucial for interiors which complement the perfectly balanced aesthetic. Off White offers 9 rooms, each individually designed and arranged.

PARK INN HOTEL KRAKOW

Investor: SOF Debniki Development Location: Monte Cassino 2 str., Krakow Type: building design Area: 12.500 m2 Completion: 2007-2009 General Contractor: PORR Polska Design: J. MAYER H. Architekten & Ovotz design Lab.

The building has been erected in the neighborhood of the old city centre of Krakow with a marvelous view of the royal Wawel Castle. For guests’ comfort designers introduced 152 guest rooms, 4 conference rooms, a ball room, a restaurant, a bar and a fitness centre. The unique aesthetics of the building – with the organic, fluid pattern of the façades was designed together with a Berlin based studio, J. MAYER H. Architekten.

PARK INN HOTEL KRAKOW

Unique and modern interiors of the hotel bring together the aesthetic of the façade and the Park Inn brand concept. The project was implemented by Hamburg based JOI-Design in cooperation with Ovotz design Lab. and in consultation with J. MAYER H. Architekten.

PARK INN HOTEL OSTRAVA

The hotel is located in the newly developed office park in Ostrava as a coherent part of a modern urban structure. The main goal was to create an interior design according to the Park Inn brand concept described as fresh and young. Colorful yet distinctive with carefully chosen materials, lit up with distinctive lights, it creates a unique atmosphere for business and leisure. There are 168 guest rooms, 3 conference rooms, a restaurant , a bar and a spa.

PARK INN HOTEL PRAGUE

The hotel is located in the picturesque city center of Prague, next to the river Veltava boulevard. The post industrial character of the building with its high ceilings and exposed concrete elements combined with brick patterns was a source of inspiration for the interior design in which each and every detail appears to be a tribute to the existing structure. There are 208 guest rooms, 5 conference rooms, a restaurant, a bar and a fitness centre located on the top floor.
